That said, I would like to hear your take on the issue. We obviously get an Americanized view of history and it is always interesting to me to hear it from a different perspective.

come on now... it IS common knowledge that the German's non-stop bombing campaigns of the US only ceased when the Brits came to our rescue. /sarcasm

We also KNOW that had the US decided to remain out of WWII and rather focused solely on Japan that the Brits still would have 'saved' us.
