Florida passes strict bill on illegal immigration

Florida just passed a bill that puts strict limits and penalties on illegal immigration. These include:

$12 million for 'relocation' of illegals in the state to other places, like Martha's Vineyard...

Mandates use of E-verify for all employers in the state with 25 or more employees, no exceptions.

Prohibits funding use by government to issue illegals any sort of legal identification including drivers licenses.

Invalidates all out-of-state ID issued to illegals. For example, someone who is here illegally with a California issued ID cannot use it in Florida, including to do things like legally drive there.

All medical providers that accept Medicaid will now be required to include a question about legal residence and immigration status on forms on patient information. This is to dissuade illegals from seeking medical care at the expense of state government.
