Anheuser-Busch Begs for Forgiveness...free beer

Anheuser-Busch is begging for forgiveness from wholesale employees in yet another attempt to do damage control as consumers continue to boycott Bud Light after partnering with a transgender influencer.

To combat a market value decrease of nearly $5 billion, Anheuser-Busch has resorted to giving out cases of free beer to every employee to "make amends" with wholesale distributors who suffered from the controversial partnership with transgender Dylan Mulvaney.

The company also plans to boost marketing spending and ramp up ad production to earn back the massive sales lost.

Figures from Bump Williams Consulting reveal that in-store sales fell 26 percent in the week ending April 22. The decline in the week prior was 21 percent, and the week before that, sales fell 11 percent.

Bump Williams, an alcohol industry analyst, said Bud Light's "compass is completely broken" with "no game plan" in mind after consumers abandoned the beer over its woke deal with Mulvaney.

The analyst expects Bud Light to be in "serious trouble" by the end of the year, taking the risk of hurting themselves further if the company does not properly address the issue.

So far, Anheuser-Busch has not apologized to customers over the partnership, only standing firm in their denial that upper management had no clue the deal with a transgender influencer was being secured.

The beer company also sent a letter to retailers addressing misconceptions about the partnership with Mulvaney.

That probably is not going to work..lol... it's been a month
and sales are still dropping... if they want to get back on track they'll have to to find another way to apologize I say put rescue dogs on the cans and donate part of the proceeds to shelters.... that might help...;)

That would go a long way toward mending fences, TOP.

I have a very hard time believing that "upper management had no clue the deal with a transgender influencer was being secured."

If this is true, upper management needs to be replaced.

Well lower management was replaced... I doubt that the higher-ups were aware, to be honest... because of "sensitivities" they're not going to apologize anymore then they already have, though... there's no way to explain what happened and during March Madness... double dumb...

Indeed.

It appears that the WOKE executives at Budweiser were not really woke, they were asleep.

Coke is regretting their Wokeness too.

But it's bud light. That's not beer.
That's the funniest part of all...they lost customers who don't even enjoy drinking that beer but bought it anyway because it's Bud and not expensive.. and then offended that whole group... who now won't mind paying a little more and getting some decent Brew..

I’ll take your word for it.

I don’t drink beer but if I did, I would be offended by any company trying to sell me their product using a trans freak.

It appears that lots of beer drinkers were not pleased.

in a company as big as anheuser, even the VP of marketing would have to get an idea this off the wall approved by upper management. they knew but they have to lie about it to cover their asses with shareholders

This is has been a total FUBAR for bud. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

I was reading an article this morning that the troubles aren't over for bud because now they have pissed off the tranny mafia for back tracking on this whole issue. Lmbo

I don't usually drink beer but it's NEVER a light beer when I do. When I start seeing tranny freaks on whiskey, bourbon and scotch then I'm in trouble.

A little wine appropriate to the dinner...if they put a tranny freak on my bottle of Pouilly-Fuisse, I won't buy it.
