What the House needs to do is pay for the bills they ran up. By tradition, the majority party does what it takes to keep the show on the road.

Republicans are now blocking military promotions, jeopardizing our national defense, over their desire to ban all abortions. This is where we are as a nation.

Debt limits used to be in the budget, but they are no longer. I never saw the point in separating them, but it was done. The budget has not been "overspent", but the debt limit has been. The debt limit has been overspent by the budget.

Republicans turned the Clinton's surplus into the largest deficit we have ever had.... AND THEY DID IT TWICE!!!

Bush promise was that he would only take half the Clinton Surplus, but he took several times it.

first, Clinton had nothing to do the the Gingrich budget which is the closest we ever came....at the time Clinton said it would bankrupt the country.......now you idiots brag about it...Bush doubled the national debt, then Obama did it again.....Biden is doing his best to match it.....
