Ukraine has ‘successfully’ used UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles against Russia, British Defense Secretary tells CNNNow the Crimea bridge maybe in range.


Ukraine has “successfully” used the Storm Shadow missiles provided by the United Kingdom, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace told CNN on Thursday.

“All I can confirm is it has been used successfully, that is the information I received from the Ukrainians, and I’m pleased it is helping them to defend their country,” Wallace told CNN’s Jim Sciutto in an exclusive interview on “News Central.”

The Storm Shadow missiles, the longest-range weapon in Ukraine’s arsenal, were just recently given to Kyiv ahead of an anticipated counteroffensive against the Russian military. The long-range cruise missile has stealth capabilities and a firing range of more than 250km, or 155 miles.

Unfortunately for Ukraine the aid they are receiving is drying up.

Also why are they so dumb to announce a military offensive to the world?

Do they think Russia won’t hear about it and prepare?

All this military hardware doesn’t even come close to what Russia hasn’t even deployed yet

Have you seen the battles? It looks like WW1 and trench warfare. This is not a high-tech war.

The Russian military is quite a lot stronger than it was a year ago. The economy is doing great as well. Our "leaders" have completely failed, and shown that the West is deep into the death spiral.

Buckle Up, very hard times are ahead for us.

The United States has done all they can do to provide the Ukraine with Intelligent Defense weapons.

But, can they win on defense only?

That's really having too high an expectation, in my opinion. But then again, I am not a Military expert.

But, I am a football fan, and yes, winning on Defense is possible in the NFL, but I also know how difficult that is to have to depend on your defense to win for you.

Let's see if the Arabian nations are willing to step up to the crisis and provide the Ukraine with some American made F-15's.

This is being discussed in the Arabian Summit today, as we speak.

I believe this is necessary for the Ukraine to properly defend their nation- regardless to who is willing to bring F-15 fighters to the war front!

Between the Russians blowing shit up and really rampling up the number of Ukrainians they kill this planned offensive is evaporating.

No way Ukraine gets ANY F15s
 
The Patriots are pretty useless too....there are not enough of them made that we can afford to give up, and we only make something like 200 a year with the factory running full, and it would take years to increase output. Right now the Russians are encouraging the Ukrainians to waste what they have, and at the same time giving up the location of the launchers so that they can be easily blown up.

It’s pointless unless the US goes all in with military support which we will not do

As we speak the power nations are telling Zelinsky to start negotiating to let Russia keep what they have which may very well be all Putin wants.

It’s about 17% of Ukraine which has traditionally been Russian
