ROLL TIDE!!!

Ugh - I'm pulling for Bama, and now Dixie is ruining it for me.

I don't think TX has much of a chance in the title game, personally. Nebraska should have beaten them w/ just a great D and no offense; Bama is good on both sides of the ball.

You've never seen players on losing teams crying on the sidelines in a game as important as that one? It was the entire season in a single game. Because it was Tebow, that's where the cameras went. Tebow's a great kid and a credit to college football and UF. What you saw was the letdown that comes after playing his heart out and losing, but, from what I see on these boards, I'm sure that feeling and result escapes quite a few of you.
Maybe the teams you follow don't have much to lose, so no player reactions. Who even knows who the Buffaloes are? (I don't know the name of the other Colo. team aside from State.)

Tebow's a pussy and will be remembered for crying like the fag he and Urban both are.

LOL. Any excuse will do in a pinch.

Yes, I have seen players cry after losing before.... and I have mocked them too.

I am a Husker fan... we have seen five titles and we have seen many 'almost' seasons. When you get beat by a better team and you gave it your all... you hold your head up, shake their hand, tip your hat to them and try to get to push yourself to that next level. When you get upset by a team you should have beat, you hold your head up, shake their hand, tip your hat to them and learn from your mistakes.

As I stated before, Tebow is a great competitor and player... but that is not going to stop me from mocking him for blubbering on the sideline.

Oh, leave Tebow alone. The idea that "real men" don't cry is archaic BS; the guy is all heart...so what if he wears it on his sleeve, win or lose?

He's in the company of guys like Favre, Agassi, Kevin Garnett, et al. - some of the best athletes in history, who also (gasp!) cried. Competition can be an emotional thing. The kind of crying I hate is not the lacrymal kind - it's the excuse-making or finger-pointing after losses, which I have never seen Tebow do...

Oh my goodness....I agree totally with this. Don't any of you Dixie-haters go to hating on me. ;) I hate the media all swooning over players...like Tebow & McCoy...or whoever it might be next year. Both the kids mentioned seem to be good kids and I hope for the best for them from here on out. Loved seeing Florida get whipped though. Look forward to the championship game and really don't care who wins...just hope it's a good game.

Actually, I agree with you. I just couldn't bring myself to say I agree with Ditzie... so I waited until someone else said it... that way I could agree with them instead of ditzie.

I am a Husker fan and took great pride in seeing our blackshirts tear up the TX line and frustrate McCoy. If our friggin kicker hadn't kicked that out of bounds at the end... I doubt TX would have won. (sorry about that TCU/Cinci/Boise State) McCoy almost cost them the game waiting so long to throw the ball out of bounds on the final play before their kick.... then they interviewed the punk afterwards and he was 'oh.. I knew I had a couple seconds'. They showed the replay several times... the ball hit and a split second later the clock went from 1 to 0. He got lucky by a fraction of a second.

As for the Championship game... I am a Big 12 fan and have great respect for the SEC.... I just can't see this being a close game. 'Bama's D will watch the tape and see what Nebraska did and will be able to repeat the defensive effort. The difference is... Bama has an offense to go with their D. Texas is going to have to play perfect for this to be close... don't see that happening.

Yes, as for the championship game I am pretty much in the same boat with the same line of thinking. The only difference is that Bama doesn't have Suh...that's his name isn't it. Bama has a very good defensive line but if Texas can keep them on the field a bit I think they will tire some....making it a slight possibility that the Horns could win. I just hope the game is close and a decent game. Oklahoma did OK against Florida last year and the title game wasn't bad. Much better than we were led to believe it would be. Hopefully we'll get the same this year with the Big 12 coming out on top.

And I say the same thing I say to the fatties on America's Fattest Fatties, quit your bawling. Save it for your bedroom.

The Huskers do have the better Def line thanks to Suh.... but Bama has the better overall Defense AND they have an offense that can actually gain yards and keep the D off the field.

I can't stand Sabon and I am a Big 12 fan, so I wouldn't mind seeing TX pull the upset either.

My guess is this will be a 20-10 sort of game....

I do like what Sabon said to the ESPN folks last night. I also hate it when they make the game out to be a David vs. Goliath matchup. The consensus among most sports reporters is that Texas can't play on the same field with Bama. Time will tell. And yes, Bama's offense is what Texas had better focus on. They got to keep them off the field.

If I am TX, I stack the line with 7/8 in the box and jam that Bama running back. That kid is way too good. Make Bama beat you through the air.
