Florida legislators did the system for banning books and made it so that a single parent can get a book banned and sue an individual teacher for a judgment call.

AK-47’ should not be manufactured in or imported to the US. I don’t mind an 18 year old being permitted to own one if they can prove responsibly and mental fitness, just like any adult.

Just because a legislature is elected does not give them the right to violate the constitution, and it does not mean the legislation is not fascist.

Agreed. In fact, any such violation would be legally contested in court. You know, like gun bans. :thup:

I don't think Mein Kampf or the Turner Diaries should be in highschool libraries.

I have my doubts that Chairman Mao's little Red Book adds anything to the highschool educational experience.


I don't see any problem with the Bible, the Quran, or the Bhagavad-Gita being in a highschool library; those are historically important literature whether or not one is Christian, Muslim, or Hindu.

Please consider the larger picture:

You dislike the fascist government of Florida even though Floridians voted their leaders into office.

You dislike Americans owning guns, some or all, even though you advocated for 18 year olds to have them.

You claim no one is treading on others then repeatedly disprove that position.

Americans drive cars, own knives and baseball bats all of which are used to commit murders, yet you never complain about them even though the main problem isn't cars, knives or baseball bats but wacky people who are allowed to roam free without treatment until they actually commit a crime. Examples:

New Hampshire man is charged with threatening to kill a senator

Florida man killed teacher in murder-suicide after learning she was unfaithful

Like the Trumpers you seem to only embrace democracy when it goes exactly the way you like it. Otherwise you seek to impose your beliefs upon others...just like Trumpers. LOL

Mein Kampf is historically important. Don't remember looking for it in my high school's library but did look for and found it in the Town library, being curious from reading about Hitler in history class. It did not tempt me to be a Nazi.
