Of course I would. I'm not really a fan of either though. I have two boys. I didn't give a rats ass what music they listened to. Because it had nothing to do with their values or who they were. They were unaffected. I tried to turn them on to the music I liked. Some of it took (my youngest can't get enough of the Beatles), some of it didn't (they laugh at Randy Newman). But if music is shaping your kid, then you are the worst parent ever.

I appreciate artists. Prince was a genius. Notorious B.I.G. was also a genius. Absolutely amazing artists, both of them. And they both spoke to people. You are laughable. It took five minutes for you to become an enraged racist. I think my kid listens to Cardi B, and I know my wife does. Not my jam, but not because of her lyrics. I'm not going to ask how old your kids are because it's obviously nobody's business, but if you have young children who are under the age of 16 and you let them listen to garbage like WAP and some of that other culturally pornographic dreck, IMO you should be arrested for contributing to the delinquency.

The reason you don't believe me is because you are projecting your small minded judgment on everyone else. My oldest son has started his masters program, my youngest is serving in the military. I guess they turned out okay. You would be a horrible parent.

I was raised in an urban city, my high school was about 40% black. No suburbs for me as a kid.

I would suggest then, since this kind of thing enrages you, that you don't spend money to see it. Problem solved.

I did not forbid my daughters to watch Disney stuff when they were growing up, but I didn't encourage it either. I didn't want them to grow up with the idea that girls are helpless by themselves and need a man to 'save' them like many of the much earlier Disney movies (and fairy tales as well) seemed to suggest. They didn't. They are all three happily married, with college degrees and good careers and children. So they're none of your fictitious man-haters that you fear. lol
