With all due respect to your 'instinct', do you have any evidence that man has caused the recent climate changes? It seems you acknowledge the planet has changed climate in the past, causing extinctions... and that change certainly couldn't have been caused by man, since man wasn't here yet. So what's to say the climate change we see today, isn't just a natural cycle of Earth, and not anything man is doing? The data doesn't seem to suggest man is having much of an effect, if any. We certainly know that natural events like volcanoes, contribute much more to the climatic conditions on the planet, and the planet lives on... we live on... nothing is destroyed forever.
This all comes down to what you want to believe. You can believe and feel that man is causing the planet to heat up, and it will eventually destroy the planet... you just don't have science to support that viewpoint.

You're right, and when the science shows the planet routinely warms and cools, and nothing man is doing is causing it to do it any faster or slower, and all the data indicates it's perfectly normal for these things to happen with the climate, it has been this way for billions of years, and the wonderful thing about life is, it can usually adjust. To believe anything to the contrary, is ignorant, I agree 100%

Religon is the reason why those who attack the science behind global warming.They want to believe the "god" is in control of the environment and man couldn't possibly effect nature because "god" is in control.Its a dangerous belief to depend apon a mythology when the stakes are life and death.

This is just not true. Science doesn't show this to be true, or even what is theorized. Global Warming is the argument that CO2 (not a pollutant) increases in our atmosphere, is causing an amplification of the greenhouse effect, and the scientific data can somewhat support this. What it can't support, is the argument that man-made sources of CO2 (not a pollutant), are causing it.
We emit CO2 every time we exhale, as do all mammals that have ever existed on the planet. We convert air into CO2 when we breathe, it is how we process the oxygen and nitrogen. Plants use the CO2, they convert it to oxygen. Carbon dioxide is not pollution, it is a natural element, and fundamental to life on Earth.

And Non-religion is the reason why those who make up things and call it science behind global warming. Yes, Science can typically prove itself... IF the data used in the study is available for others to cross check. If only the massaged data is available and the 'scientists' try to prevent others from checking their work... then it is JUNK Science.
