Haha. Prove it then. No name calling or anything primary like that. Actual scientific proof. Put it up or you've got shit.
Prove what? Science DOESN'T PROVE! I just got through saying that! There is scientific data, and we can derive any meaning we want from that data. The consensus is, the planet has gotten about 1 degree warmer in the past 150 years. We don't know if this is because of man-made activities, but it doesn't appear to be, since most of that increase came before 1940, and historical data shows similar rises (and falls) in the temperature of the planet, and this has gone on for as long as the planet has existed.
The people attempting to peddle this AGW theory, base their idea on the supposed rise in CO2 in our atmosphere. Scientific data shows it has risen by about 30% over the past 150 years, from 280 ppm to 360 ppm... (PPM means parts per million.) This means, 150 years ago, our atmosphere had 999,720 parts per million which were not carbon dioxide, and now it has 999,640 parts per million which aren't carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide represents 5% of the greenhouse gases, most of the other 95% is water vapor. The greenhouse effect is essential for our planet to maintain life, it's a GOOD thing! Without these greenhouse gases and the greenhouse effect, we couldn't survive on this planet, and most likely, no living organism could.
What part of science would you like to look at here? Botanists argue that increased CO2 helps the plant life and vegetation, and up until recently, they were starving for CO2. Science has also indicated the plant life on Earth evolved in a much higher concentration of CO2, and scientific studies of plants show a considerable increase in productivity and growth in plants raised in high CO2 atmospheres. The CO2 helps plants to retain water better, enabling plant life to grow in more harsh environments. An increase in our atmospheric CO2 levels is actually very beneficial to mankind, as it will enable us to feed more hungry people. Other species thrive as well, herbivores have more vegetation to eat, carnivores have more herbivores to eat... we all prosper!
