War bonds are fucking stupid. The difference between war bonds and the bonds that our government currently issues to finance the extensive deficit spending is exactly nothing. It's nothing more than a marketing gimmick. People that support the war buy the war bonds and everyone pays the interest thereon.

No, here is what we're going to do.... The cost of these wars will be deducted from social entitlement programs, and the additional 30,000 troops needed for Afghanistan, will come from the ranks of chicken shit anti-war liberals like yourself. We'll send you over there to be cannon fodder for the next couple of years before we turn tail and run. This became YOUR president's war in January, but you've not stopped complaining to US about it! By god, call the mutherfucker up and ask him why the hell we haven't withdrawn from BOTH wars... YESTERDAY! It's not MY fault we are still there, stop complaining to ME!

A progressive tax system doesn't work like that. The money you make OVER 250k would be taxed at a 90% rate. For lower incomes, lower tax rates would apply. If you made like 3 million dollars a year, almost all of it would be taxed at 90%, sure. But I imagine that employers would suddenly find it in their interests to do something socially useful, like invest in research, or raise their workers pay rates, than dump 90% of their money to the government in an attempt to buy more yachts with the 10% left over.

where is the incentive in that? you're penalizing people for making more money, there is no way in hell the government is entitled to rob your income like that....

if you tax at your ridiculous rate, all the money over 250K with a 3 million dollar income would be only $275,000, so if you're going progressive, assuming nearly everything under 250K is 45%, you're talking only an after tax income of approx. $425,000....

that is economic robbery and according to your own wishes, you should shot as a traitor to this great country

Taxation can never be robbery. This was the tax rate at America's greatest time. The income tax revenues that did go up in Reagan's time only went up because the rich were making so much money by ROBBING the American worker. In previous times, that money that goes to huge hudnred million dollar golden parachutes went to the workers, because the government simply made it retarded to pay non-productive citizens billions of dollars. We need to return to that, and give money back to the people who deserve it.

Here's the thing you stupid socialist fuck, you can't tax your way to prosperity! The more you impose an income tax on wealthy people, the less motivated wealthy people are to make money! Don't you get it? Rich people are not like the middle class, they don't have to earn an income... they are wealthy! You raise their taxes all you want to, and watch them find new ways to hide their money and avoid earning a taxable income!
