No the gap in GE is growing. Biden won by 7MM votes, with both Trump and Biden hitting record turnout.

Hillary won the popular vote by 3MM.


I think you will only see that gap grow and grow as these republi'cans' see even conservatard women quietly voting against them in the booths over their womens health care and abortion impositions. As PoC continue to grow as a percent of the population and as Younger and Younger voters are increasingly showing up to vote realizing this current republi'can' movement will entirely fuck up their future and this planet without a care of concern all to appease corporate over lords and the racist and xenophobic base.

Republicans are creating the seeds of their own destructions as they awaken and drive more 'opponent' voters to the polls. You are not turning that clock back.

That is why this version of the republi'can' party has to die, and a new one emerge targeted to what i say above.

That leaves many of the posters here stuck going back to 8chan as they will no longer find anyone interested in their racist, xenophobic, sexist garbage.

If the Dems keep taking an increasing share of the Popular vote it will make it increasingly hard to impossible for the electoral college vote to work out for the GOP.

Had Hillary won by 20MM that means she would have taken a huge chunk of votes from the GOP across many districts impacting their EV count.

That is the dumb 'if', not mine.

If the popular vote gap keeps growing (Hillary 3MM, and Biden 7MM) and with the demographic shift, young voters and women that is quite predictable, ... then the Electoral College WILL NOT save the republi'cans' in the future.


That is simple logic and true as the republi'cans' are not adding 'new voters' to keep the closing the margin if the Dems keep getting ever more in the popular vote.

It's an old joke. Kind of an age/culture check. Basically it ridicules "if" statements as being fantasy like pigs flying. Flying pigs would be dropping pig-sized shit, hence the need for helmets.

She could win 100% of the vote in, for example, California, but that wouldn't change the electoral count. Why? Because the popular vote doesn't count, EC votes count.

Agreed the EC votes count.

Which is why the Republicans have been worried this entire century as proved by their efforts to disenfranchise American voters through various tricks and legal maneuvers.

Right but the math is not there for Dems to keep winning the popular vote by an increasingly bigger number without taking votes out of Red States.

That is why anyone who studies elections states the current tread is doom for the GOP if they keep bleeding bigger popular vote numbers to the Dems. It means Dems are getting more and more in Red States which WILL impact the Electoral College count.


The Republiclowns are on a sinking ship, and they are making their last ditch effort to save it now, through election rigging on the front end (preventing people from voting and gerrymandering) and election theft on the back end (not counting votes, throwing out electors and substituting their own), and the SC could have given them a huge boost, with a win on the Independant Legislature theory case, but did not and instead pretty much ensured Democracy will be even more protected than ever.

If the Republican Party is losing votes it's because more and more people like anti-American, racist fuckwits and pedophiles in COngress.

There is no math that would see Hillary or any Dem POTUS candidate win by 20MM that would make sense, where the Dems are not taking significant numbers of voters from Red States and swaying the EC as well. So it is you who does not know how it works.
