why you carry a gun mowing the lawn

Making up scenarios to appear like a tough guy. Have you faced a lot of crazy people with machetes? You are far more likely to get mowed down by an AR before you pull your gun out. But then, the 2nd Amendment gives almost anyone a right to walk around with military weapons, thereby making us all so much safer.

The only person I have recently heard of that wanders around with a machete is Mr. Tiny Penis.

Ah, no, I am a pragmatist, and aren’t suffering from the apparent paranoia that you are, it is sad day when everyone has to be packing inorder to just mow their lawn.

Bigger question is why would a person suffering from a psychosis as yours would even venture out of the house even to cut the grass

you are not a pragmatist, you're a pacifist............probably because you're not courageous enough to defend yourself or others. you lack masculinity so you blame crime on decent people to make yourself feel better.

If you are police or military trained, that's one thing. But, if you have never actually shot anyone, and most people have not, you may experience a little hesitance to shoot someone yourself.

It's called Buck Fever. Even most policemen and even soldiers experience this phenomena the very first time!

Most humans are not instinctively born killers!

everything you posted above is just wrong. you apparently have the same ideas about humans as incompetent buffoons that all leftists do...........

He's an ex-Marine ATC, current traitor and militia member.

For those who don't know the differences:
Marine: a person who serves or served in the Marine Corps. Once a Marine, always a Marine.
Former Marine: A dead Marine.
Ex-Marine: a person who was thrown out of the Marine Corps under less than Honorable conditions.

it's amazing to me how you can walk around being proud of being so wrong about everything

sure it is, racist..............sure it is.
You're free to lie, dodge and weave, son.

Man wanted on Jan. 6 charges arrested with weapons near Obama’s home in D.C.
A man armed with explosive materials and weapons, and wanted for crimes related to the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, was arrested Thursday in the Washington neighborhood where former President Barack Obama lives, law enforcement officials said.

Taylor Taranto, 37, was spotted by law enforcement a few blocks from the former president’s home and fled, though he was chased by U.S. Secret Service agents. Taranto has an open warrant on charges related to the insurrection, two law enforcement officials said. The officials were not authorized to speak publicly about an ongoing case and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

They said Taranto also had made social media threats against a public figure. He was found with weapons and materials to create an explosive device, though one had not been built, one of the officials said.

No one was injured. It was not clear whether the Obamas were at their home at the time of his arrest.

Metropolitan Police arrested Taranto on charges of being a fugitive from justice. The explosives team swept Taranto’s van and said there were no threats to the public.

Taranto was a U.S. Navy veteran and a webmaster for the Republican Party in Franklin County, in Washington state, according to the Tri-City Herald newspaper. He told the newspaper in an interview last year that he was volunteering for the Republican Party.

Sir, if you want to have a positive conversation with me, you will have to leave the political hatred and hate speak out of the discussion.

Or otherwise go fuck yourself!

Your poor disregard for others does not interest or concern me.

My posts, in this thread, were not political in nature.

If you disagree with my comment, instead of insulting people, you should explain why you feel I was wrong!

there was no intent to insult you directly here. sorry that you took offense.

one does not have to have 'government' training to be proficient in self defense, whether it's with weapons or not.
that hesitancy is normal, but training can be used to overcome it.
those that can't overcome that hesitancy should not be carrying a weapon.

my remarks about viewing humans as incompetent seems to be a majority viewpoint of the left, at least from what gets represented on this forum...............my personal interactions aside

So he is dead and you do not care. We get that. Shoot people when you want to or MAY feel threatened. If he was not carrying a gun, it would have been bruising and law suits as a result.
I would feel pretty threatened if some one cut me with garden shears. The guy might do a Penny choke hold on me.

I've often discovered that those people who use the 'compensating' ad homs are almost always the ones who need to compensate.

I never liked the argument of showing "need" as a requirement for exercising an unalienable right. While I'd like to see more details and background on the OP case, even if just verify the testimony, everyone has a right of self-defense including the use of deadly force when protecting their lives.

Sir, I am as guilty as the next guy when it comes to insulting people sometimes. SO, this goes out to everyone, including myself.

The truth is, no two individuals on earth are ever going to agree on everything.

If I were to ask you who your favorite musician were, or what was your favorite movie, or which woman was the most beautiful in the world, you would never hear the same answers from any two people!

But, it is readily acceptable that we would not all agree, but we would never insult anyone for their personal opinions on these matters.

So, why has it become such a norm for us to express hatred towards those who do not agree with us on every political issue before our nation?

Why do we insult those who do not agree with our own religious beliefs?

This is my point- WE SHOULD NOT BE INSULTING OTHERS FOR HAVING DIFFERENT OPINIONS AND BELIEFS ABOUT ANYTHING REALLY!

At some point, we should try to become a more civil society and stop all of our personal hatreds towards each other- JUST BECAUSE WE DO NOT ALL AGREE!

And, here as members of this forum, all we can do personally, is set better examples for those to follow!

And if you think my hopes and expectations about civility are a bit pollyannaish, I would not feel you insulted me, I would just feel you have a different opinion than I do about it, and I would respect your opinion.

And, I appreciate your comments about guns and training etc. I agree with you!

Thanks!
