It's down about 5% since you said it was "dropping like a rock"...last spring...

It is a pretty significant drop over the last month though. I think it's reflective of moderates discontent with the healthcare bill and liberals discontent with losing the public option and the deployment of more troops to Afghanistan.

Well, one goofball has weighed in... any more out there???

You won't catch me spinning like you did when Bush had low #'s (hey, if they called me, I'd probably say I didn't approve too!)

If they called me, I'd definitely say "approve." He's done quite a bit of what I expected him to do, and the national priorities have shifted in a big way. The economy is also turning around, which is pretty huge.

So yeah - one approval here...

One more.
With the fantasy you displayed about bush's record just last week, you have little to talk about re: Obama's performance after he was handed the mess bush created on almost every front and left behind for others to solve.

I concur.....America's "instant gratification" attitudes coupled with the wimpy, bend over backwards accomodating sections of the Dem party and Obama is not sitting well. To me, it's a reality check....but unfortunately if you let the neocon driven GOP back into full power...well, we've had 8 years of (shudder) THAT!

Yeah, poor guy.... I guess he shouldn't have run for president if he wasn't up to the job, huh? Well, that's okay, we'll see if we can't remedy that in 2012... maybe get someone in there who is able to actually tackle the problems instead of whining about what was inherited.

I think your correct but I don't think it correlates accurately with electoral politics. The Republican party is still dominated by the far right and the American public will continue to support Obama vs a far right alternative.

You mean like Bush was? [/sarcasm]
