That's a pretty good description of what's Happening... because clearly everyone is aware that she is the 7th grandchild... and they talk endlessly about how important family is and how family comes first and how much the grandchildren are loved and how much they love them... if they weren't so public about the other six it might not be as damning but... they are and it is... they deserve every bit of bashing that they get...

The occupation of the mother has nada to do with the granddaughter being acknowledged by Joe.

Agreed. If it was Donnie Junior who knocked her up, the Trumpers would be calling her a money-grubbing whore.

OTOH, it's wrong that Biden doesn't acknowledge the kid publicly. There might be legal reasons and he may have provided for the kid behind the scenes, but it still has an appearance of wrongness.
 
There are a number of posters here,(cough) Nordy, brandonpresident, Mrr. Tiny Penis, the sandwich boy, Depends Frankie, Guano, etc, that defend Brandon regardless of his actions. I get democrat loyalty, but this shit transcends this particular story. I always reflect back to when Trump was in office he had more than his share of miscues but this Brandon guy tops him with some idiotic move every day he is exposed to the public.

I pray daily for Brandon only because Heels Up Harris makes Brandon look like a Rhodes Scholar and she is one frail heartbeat from being the pres. God help us all.

Nobody can say for sure why he didn't acknowledge her publicly. If her father and maybe her mother don't want public attention focused on their four-year old, Biden doesn't have the right to go against them.

I've read about family feuds starting because some child's family member posted the kid's picture or name on FB without the parent's permission. In today's world I don't fault anyone for wanting their kid to remain anonymous.

Agreed if that's the case. OTOH, the fact the mother had to go to court to force Hunter to do right by his daughter says she was willing to face the publicity.

Agreed on keeping the kid anonymous but leaving them to hang out to dry isn't right either.

We don't even need to know who's in his fucking family--what's it to us?

Biden has a hostile House, a hostile SCOTUS, and an inert Senate that includes the DINOS Manchin and Sinema,
almost leaving Moscow Mitch with as much clout as Schumer. Thank God he at least has the competent Harris.

Surrounded by "stunads" as we used to say in the old neighborhood, he has to do the best that he can.
We have to judge his performance from that perspective, not whether or not he's a good grandfather.
