I read his statement and he agreed that penalizing people who can't afford insurance was idiotic.
You're part of the people who he's calling idiotic.
LOL idiot
You're so friggin' brain-dead, tinfoil....

Now you are pro public option?
You're so friggin' brain-dead, tinfoil....
The TEA influence is what made it finally unpalatable even to Dean. You really can't see past the surface of anything anymore can you?For once?
Negative, misleading propoganda & outright lies have worked for centuries.
And Dean's comments hardly reflect TEA influence.....

When was the last time the right took to the streets, took their protest to town hall meetings, drove anything at all from the street?
Yes, the people who have done that previously had the effect for the reason you list, but there was a different group out there and for once acting and speaking out made a difference.
You do that so you can fit everybody into the little boxes that make you brain feel better.'kay. I'll mark you & tinny down as heaping praise on the biggest group of right-wing hacks going right now...

Howard Dean: Scrap the Senate Health Bill
http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/12/15/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry5983608.shtml
I concur, try again after the mid term elections next year! In the meantime concentrate on the economy! A healthcare bill without the public option and the medicare option is a waste of time and money! This bill is so watered down, nothing will change!
Well, it appears right now the stripped down bill that is basically just chock full of cost increases and pork to buy off votes (of course we can't tell because nobody at all has read this thing after the changes) will be passed soon and we'll be the proud owners of the crappiest health "reform" in the first world.I was listening to Dean on Air America yesterday. He said that while the House bill leaves a LOT to be desired, the Senate bill is just a capitulation to the insurance companies...period. I have to agree.

Nah. I do it because most of the people in the TEA movement are right-wingers, and used deception more than fact.
Do you want a list of some of the lies & misconceptions spread by this group? Like I said, there were good reasons to oppose this bill. They used a few of those, too.
The fact that you are singing the praises of a group like this is actually kind of astounding to me. As much as I say "yer a hack," I have known you to be objective about stuff like this in the past. Like I said - it's the right's Code Pink.

3. - "basically just chock full of cost increases and pork to buy off votes"...generic accusations that can be leveled at any proposed bill. Proving the accusations is another matter.
Right. You need to read the posts of your "allies"...Shouldn't we give the TEA folks credit for that?
1. - If the bill is crappy, we have no one to blame but the tea baggers, the insurance lobbiest and the Dem/GOP politicos in the insurance companies pockets.
2. - The versions of the bill(s) has been on the net for sometime.....whether people have the time to read it is something else.
