lol....it can be leveled at any proposed bill because they ALL include pork......

So all you have to do is just point out the pork, chuckles. Saying a bill is ALL pork is bogus.

Right. You need to read the posts of your "allies"... I did, I was responding to what YOU wrote.

And Taichi.... That is idiotic (not you, but the idea that you can't blame the idiots who create something for what they created). We have the people who vote for crap to blame for crap. What's idiotic is trying to pretend that the whole Tea bagger nonsense did NOT have an affect on the vote. Blame the voters, blame the tea baggers, blame the lobbyist.

Just like TARP and total control with the SEC chair was crap, this too is crap with no effective cost control. It even allows companies to put a cap on spending for diseases (cancer) that have high costs. People will still go bankrupt trying to pay for care... we'll pay more and have the same issues....

Agreed.

The bootlickers are out in full regalia...
Blaming the "tea party" folks for the DEMOCRAT/OBAMA healthcare bill....that is about as asinine as you can get....

Conservatives had NO SAY in what is contained in this bill.....the Dims have their 60+ votes and and the Republicans were not asked for nor allowed to even participate in the negotiations or submit amendments....

I'm going to agree that the current health care bill is the fault of the teabaggers......they asked a single uncomfortable question...."What the fuck do you think you are doing?"......and when the left couldn't answer it, parts of the bill started to disappear.....fortunately, even the left is joining us in asking that question now, so hopefully, we will get rid of the rest of it before it's too late....

Actually that's not the question they asked.

They asked: "YAO91!!~!~~~!!!!????!! 1ESTSKL;DSVKLKLSFL!@111./Q23R1`11??????!!!!!!11 !!!!!!WKLL;KFSJKL;W!!1LGJKLFJKL~!!???!!! !!!!!???"

They want to execute hundreds of thousands of Americans because of their love of corporations. Instead, we should execute them.

look, WM.....if you want to think that you and Grind together equal 100 of me, you better enlist his help....because alone you're falling 99.99 parts short.......

I was responding to another. I fully believe that the TEA protesters had an effect and mentioned it earlier in another thread.

Though I blame the actual people who wrote and voted for the legislation for the actual legislation. Once it sucked and was clearly going to do nothing to control costs they should have trashed it and started over and worked with the other party to make something that was bipartisan rather than excluding, then blaming.

There comes a time when you become responsible for your actual actions, when you are a representative, write and vote for legislation, that's pretty much one of those times.

Put it this way, Damo.....what we are seeing is the mask of civility, law and the democratic process steadily slipping off. The Dems/GOP in Congress are for the most part acting/reacting from their wallets and re-election status. Dupes like the tea baggers just encourage such attitudes to keep up the facade of being "supported by the people". Obama can talk the talk, but not only is he not drawing the line in the sand, but he doesn't have a unified or strong Dem party to stand with him.

Again, I say with undying hope, "Third Party anyone"?

The bootlickers are out in full regalia... You don't have to tell us...you're lips are STILL attached to the Shrub's ass.
Blaming the "tea party" folks for the DEMOCRAT/OBAMA healthcare bill....that is about as asinine as you can get.... Once again, this asshole just doesn't read. The previous posts pointed to the tea baggers support of consistent opposition to ANY reform proposal by Obama...giving the veneer of justification to the "party of no" GOP'ers on the Hill.

Conservatives had NO SAY in what is contained in this bill.....the Dims have their 60+ votes and and the Republicans were not asked for nor allowed to even participate in the negotiations or submit amendments....

Once again this proudly ignorant neocon parrot squawks about things he knows absolutely nothing about. Since Lieberman has more than once made it clear he can prevent the 60 vote margin... http://alankatz.wordpress.com/2009/...emma-the-myth-of-the-60th-democratic-senator/

And the GOP has had more than adequate input into the bills creation, despite their obstinate attitude.

????....the GOP was given NO opportunity to provide input into the current bill.....why bother to pretend they did?.....

The 10 Democratic senators who crafted a healthcare compromise are keeping its details a secret, says Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said Friday.

Responding to a complaint by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) that Republicans haven't been told what's in the new bill, Durbin, the No. 2 Democrat in the Senate, responded that he's in the same position.

"I would say to the senator from Arizona that I'm in the dark almost as much as he is. And I'm in the leadership," Durbin said on the Senate floor.

Maybe Durbin should have waited for the the CBO like everyone else? And the GOP DIDN'T WANT BIPARTISANSHIP ON THIS....although they were given the option

ah, so first the GOP HAD input, then they ought to have waited until it was done to give input, then they didn't WANT input, then they were given the option for input?.......

you realize, of course, that the link you provided was for a completely different health care plan.....

as before, the proof is there......ten Democrats are responsible for what is coming out of Senate.....we all can look forward to pinning them with responsibility......

:palm: If you had bothered to read the responses in the context to which they were given, then you wouldn't be confused now and bray like an ass. Once again, you earn the title of a post modern fool.

you realize, of course, that the link you provided was for a completely different health care plan.....

You realize of course, that ANY HEALTHCARE proposal by the Dems was REJECTED by the Party of No (alias the GOP). That's what the link was about. Or were you out of the country when you had GOP Congressman and Senators making public statements rejecting out of hand ANY bill that contained a single payer or public option?

as before, the proof is there......ten Democrats are responsible for what is coming out of Senate.....we all can look forward to pinning them with responsibility......

As before, you leave out information that you don't like, and parrot the party line.

lol....there you have it.....the left's definition of "bipartisan" means accept what we offer....when they say the GOP had "input" they mean they had the chance to agree.....

So the GOP stands up and states for the record that REFUSE to compromise on anything that may contain a public option of single payer option....and a willfully ignorant neocon parrot like yourself chuckles with glee because in your limited intelligence it's the Dems who are at fault for not immediately capitulating?

As it stands now, No public option or single payer option....and the GOP is STILL bitching.
Tell me something chuckles, maybe you can enlighten us all as to what the GOP alternative plan was?

What's truly a shame is that you consistently take a condescending attitude DESPITE dated information that makes you look foolish. Get up to speed as to why the GOP plan is a joke, and who says so:

As for Roy Blunt, his credibility on this subject is dubious at best:
