A reason like his VP may be implicated in a bribery scheme.

- Firing him did not protect Burisma as this prosecutor was protecting Burisma and refusing to investigate them. So it in fact exposed Burisma to risk of prosecution.

Joe went there not to address a corruption problem but to have one person fired, a person investigating a company his son was involved with.

Joe never went to another country with massive corruption and why is that?

That video is well known. Biden made a point that Ukraine would not get the loan guarantees if Shokin, a corrupt prosecutor was involved with it. He was acting as our allies, who were involved in the guarantees agreed he should. It is obvious that you are clueless as usual.
 
If Biden wasn't acting unilaterally--eg., on his own-- in demanding that this prosecutor be fired, then who in the US government was? The only person higher up is Obama, and it's pretty damn clear he didn't know anything about that prior to Biden demanding it.

Why did we and our allies care about one corrupt prosecutor in Ukraine when there are thousands of corrupt people everywhere in politics or law enforcement of other nations we donate funds to?

What made this guy so special?

The only difference is this guy was investigating a company tied to Biden's son.

Question, then why did Biden accept a more corrupt, more incompetent, bootlicking lacky of a replacement for Shokin? If he was concerned so much about corruption, wouldn't he have wanted someone less corrupt, more competent in the position?
