It's actually kind of funny to try to compare Hillary's few comments - AFTER SHE CONCEDED THE ELECTION - w/ the daily onslaught of election denial from Trump and his minions.

Are you KIDDING? HILLARY let Trump be investigated for TWO years for a FAKE Russian dossier that SHE had written. She cast doubt on Trump's election as President for over two years and people on this very site STILL say Trump was elected in a fraudulent election. BTW Obama , Biden and Brennan all knew the dossier was a fake and Trump was innocent but they let the investigation continue so don't complain about Trump.

Do you realize people on this very site don't think Trump won in 2016? Hillary did TREMENDOUS harm letting Trump be investigated for a fake document that SHE HAD MADE. There is ZERO evidence that Trump didn't win in 2016.

Trump actually said there was "massive fraud" in 2016 - because his vanity couldn't handle losing the popular vote.

He also called the 2012 election a "sham."

Hillary actually said Trump was an illegitimate President. Now if there wasn't election fraud how would Trump be an illegitimate President.

Doesn't change my argument one iota. If the system remains exactly the same, even if Trump and those using Trump's version of corrupt elections disappears doesn't mean that faith in our elections would be restored. I'd say, that faith in the process is declining, and the more the Democrats get things that were in that bill passed into law whether it's local, state, or federal, the less people will believe our elections are fair and free of fraud.

Things like:

No voter ID
Ballot harvesting
Vote swapping
Automatic voter registration when getting a license or ID card at DMV
Election 'seasons' lasting weeks
All electronic voting
All mail-in voting
Not purging voter registration rolls regularly
Ballot drop boxes

That's just some of the crap that cause people to lose confidence in the election process. It doesn't take talking heads on TV to do it either.

You could do all that and 10 times more and if you have a Trump like leader in the GOP, he will scream rigged over and over until trust is lowered.

Lets not play games with the issue as Trump was saying he would call fraud and rigged long before the election took place. Long before many other elections took place. And if he won, the confidence of the voters was there, because he then did not yell rigged,and when he lost he yelled rigged and the confidence left.


So jumping to actions that DO NOT improve elections is meaningless as none of it would stop Trump or those like him yelling rigged next time.

If your goal is to build election confidence then calling out the liars, shaming them and discrediting them is the only way to get there.

She wrote it? Are you nuts? The dossier was not fake. It seems it was not 100 percent accurate. But it was just background information that was gathered.

The reference was to the many on the Right who have and are in charge of the narrative, not those who haven't. Which you are, I haven't any idea. The point is about learning and that is a scarce commodity everywhere.
