An F.B.I. agent on Wednesday fatally shot a man in Provo, Utah, who officials said was armed and had threatened to assassinate President Biden just hours before the president was scheduled to speak in nearby Salt Lake City.

Craig D. Robertson, 75, was also charged with threatening to shoot other elected officials, including Alvin L. Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, as well as with making threats against law enforcement officials, according to court documents filed a day earlier in U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City.

We all need to be vigilant and report these types of posters. There are or have been some right on this board. These lone wolf attacks are likely to become more frequent as Trump ups his violent rhetoric. I hope he is tossed in jail. He should not be allowed to continue to threaten witnesses and encourage violence.

Do you ever watch the news? A guy who had posted that he intended to kill President Biden and other Trump enemies.. The FBI went to serve a search warrant ahead of Biden's visit to Utah, and like many posters here, he didn't like the FBI knocking on his door. So he's dead. Good riddance.

And there is nothing in your article saying this guy was threatening them.

All it said is he made threats and had guns, that is not a reason to shoot.

For some "strange" reason the FBI won't release the details of the shooting but are more than happy to give us all the other information.
