CNN reported Sunday that lawyers for the 2020 presidential campaign of President Donald Trump received a “written invitation” to inspect voting machines and software in Georgia’s Coffee County — though that is not how CNN’s headline portrayed it.

In the CNN story, Trump is described as being implicated in a “voting system breach,” implying that he had personally hacked into voting systems, or that his campaign had done so. But the “breach” happened after the election, and appeared authorized.

CNN’s lead story on Sunday is titled: “Messages show Trump’s team behind voting system breach.” The article itself connects the “breach” with an imminent indictment of Trump that is expected in Georgia’s Fulton County over 2020 election challenges.

The article’s first paragraph drops the hint that the “breach” occurred in Georgia, not nationwide; and that it was not prior to the 2020 election, or the 2024 election, but rather in the aftermath of the 2020 election, when questions arose about potential fraud.

So Trump’s team got a written invitation AFTER the fact to inspect the voting machines and that is what CNN is running with LOL..so everything was perfectly legal and done after the fact and they were given permission to do so

Where is the story? I wonder why you haven't posted it!

Regardless of it election officials invited them or not, it’s still illegal. If someone invited you to kill their wife, doing so is still a crime.

Why do Trumppers fall for this shot all the time?

Six days before pro-Trump operatives gained unauthorized access to voting systems, the local elections official who allegedly helped facilitate the breach sent a “written invitation” to attorneys working for Trump, according to text messages obtained by CNN.

A ‘written invitation’ to access voting systems

On January 1, 2021 – days ahead of the January 7 voting systems breach – Katherine Friess – an attorney working with Giuliani, Sidney Powell and other Trump allies shared a “written invitation” to examine voting systems in Coffee County with a group of Trump allies.

Let’s think about this, I send you a note to come over to my house in the middle of the night, You have the invite note. We have a few drinks and you leave. Next day the police show up to arrest you for trespassing on my property. Of course there were notices to not trespass but you figured wrong that my note would allow you to visit. That’s their case?

Supposition, conjecture, but no hard core direct proof of the accusation or implication.

Typical Breitbart BS.... the cornerstone of the MAGA GOP campaign.

Pity the idiots don't realize that "rallying the base" is not enough to swing the 2024 election, as many of the "undecided" and "independent" voters have made it clear that they are NOT voting for the Orange Oaf again.

But you've got to give the little cusses credit for persistence!

The worker who offered them access was doing a crime by giving them access

It was a crime all around

Lots of state republicans are going to prison too for helping trump

The Republican Party is bleeding out from self inflicted wounds

Why would they get an invitation to inspect the voting machines BEFORE the fact? trump's team only wanted to inspect them after he lost the election, because before that they fully believed he would win the state.

Why would anyone in their right mind would want things to stay this way? The Democrats are done.

Putin is one persistent piece of shit

I can't give Putin all the credit....he just did a little piggyback on a situation that has existed and has been long fermenting in America since the Reagan years....some say since Nixon. As the old saying goes, "we have met the enemy, and they are us!"

If the machines are allowed to be investigated by outsiders, they have to be replaced. Who would allow that to happen? Just a Trumpy. Georgia is a Trumpy plot to steal the election.
