This is the narrative that says CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) gas emissions generated by human beings since the start of the industrial era (say 200 years ago) are going to inevitably increase global temperatures to a "tipping point" after which catastrophic weather events like: hurricanes; rornadoes, floods; droughts; wild fires, will run rampant across continents like America. There will also be extreme events like American cities being invaded by starving polar bears fleeing the melting Arctic and Antarctic ice-caps In the US, the climate change apocalypse caused by humans (in particular people like Americans who live in an advanced, industrial society) burning fossils fuels: like:gasoline, oil, coal and natural gas, will see whole big cities like: NYC, San Francisc, New Orleans and countless others submerged under water - with countless number of their residents drowned like rats. Finally the blazing heat from the Sun will toasts all Yanks - they will be cooked like "shrimps on a Bar-B-Q" Unless we immediately and radically cut our use of fossil fuels by using sources of energy that do not emit CARBON DIOXIDE (CO20 into the atmosphere, we'll all be dead - every bastard who lives on planet Earth along with all of the other animal species within 10 to 50 years. Yes, this is as, "President" Biden, AOC and "Pocahontas" among other intellectual/scientific heavy-weights continue to emphasis to us, literally, an EXISTENTIAL CRISIS.

While we are not the cause of global warming, we can't compete with nature, there is no doubt that 8 billion people aren't having some sort of effect.

There is just no way to measure what that effect is.

Even if we were all still hunter-gatherers the sheer amount of people would be affecting something.
