Joe Biden Sending $700 to Maui Fire Victims

Even before my reluctance to fly at all--
unless I win the lottery and can afford private charters--
I knew that I wouldn't be able tolerate an air trip from Boston to Hawaii.
That's just too much.
Plus, the last time I went even in that general direction, I had no fun.

Up until now, I regretted that I'd likely never see Hawaii.
Now, I feel sorrow for all the fire victims to be sure,
but I don't particularly care to visit.

$700 bucks each?
I don't do it often, admittedly,
but I've literally spent that much on dinner.

Nationalize all the Musk and Bezos money and send that.
That should bring it up a little over 700.

The federal and state governments are paying for lodging for these displaced people?!! It's not like they got a lot of places to spend that $700?!! How much money should the feds give them?

The inflation numbers are clearly a lie. Europe has it even worse, they are getting ravished by inflation, a lot of it is due to the Debacle in Ukraine.
