After Years of Spreading Lies, Election Deniers Face Consequences

Not sure what you mean here?

Are you claiming there is never any election fraud?

I can prove that isn't true.

Many people are in prison for violating voting rules.

So do I trust that every vote is legitimate, of course not.

The gov't keeps a website w/ all of the details. There are hundreds of cases of fraud every election.

Individual fraud.

We're a nation of over 300 million. The amount of fraud is statistically zero.

The fraud was limited and not as widespread as claimed by Trump and his cohorts in crime.

Do you trust the election process, it’s an easy question, but you keep dodging it.

So there is no actual damage.

Gotcha.

That is fundamental and real damage. If some the people do not trust the election processes, they can get very weird and dangerous. You rightys tried to overthrow the last election. Trump is setting it up to normalize that.

Nobody tried to overthrow anything, they were challenging the election results which many people have done throughout US history.

Trump was hardly the first to file lawsuits on this issue.

The broad indictment includes some of the most prominent figures in the movement to subvert the election: Rudolph W. Giuliani, who presented state legislatures with what he said was evidence of fraud and has continued to make such claims as recently as this month; John C. Eastman, a lawyer and an architect of the scheme to create bogus slates of pro-Trump electors; David Shafer, the chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, who filed 16 fake electors; and Sidney Powell, a lawyer behind some of the wildest claims about election machines.

On a lot of the footage, you can hear rioters yelling "1776!" There is also audio of a discussion around starting a new government.
