Man forced to ditch $115K Ford EV truck during family road trip to Chicago

Then stop using cell phones, computers and batteries. The mining gas has not bothered you in the past. Now you expect us to think you really care.

What mining gas?

False dichotomy fallacy. False equivalence fallacy. You are trying to compare a coin battery to a 2000lb battery pack. Which do you think uses more lithium, Nordbutt?

Since you are trying to denigrate oil products, let's do the reverse:

Stop using clothing, cell phones, computers, cars (including EVs), electric power, food, water, radios and TVs, roads, paints, salt or pepper, signage, batteries (including those found in EVs), houses and apartments, tools, carpet, linoleum, umbrellas, adhesive or adhesive tape, bubble wrap, etc. ALL are made from oil products.

Dude, not only are you ignorant you don’t understand physics either.
Now you are throwing a little temper tantrum. You should have paid attention in school instead of playing hooky. Now you are in a world of hurt, being relegated to being told how and what to think by others who manipulate you and who bend you over furniture in order to ream even more disinformation into you.

Yes, I understand all the physics pertaining to this subject matter. I tried to help you. I quite clearly pointed you in the direction of the 2nd law of thermodynamics and the Fischer-Tropsh process. Unfortunately you recognize that you are too stupid to learn so you didn't bother to even attempt to master them so that I could then help you further. Instead, you sit here pouting at your realization that everyone you have trusted on the matter has lied to you, and you know of no other way to find out what to must believe.

Ergo, I am here to help you if you have any questions, otherwise take your ignorant babbling to someone who shares your predilections for that type of disinformation. I'm afraid I can't help you there.

In no way are electric engines are less efficient than internal combustion engines.
The 2nd law of thermodynamics spells it out for you. You're the one who is to cowardly to face the music, so instead of learning what you need to learn, you flee from truth with your tail between your legs. Let me know when you grow a pair and want to learn.

And hydrocarbons are by definition not a renewable resource.
Did you just assert that the definition of hydrocarbon chains specifies that they somehow cannot be formed by geological processes and are therefore not renewable? Take a wild guess at who just broadcasted that he is the consummate moron. C'mon ... take a wild guess.

The Fischer-Tropsh process (i.e. chemistry) thoroughly explains the renewable nature of hydrocarbons ... but you say that the people who bend you over furniture command you to completely ignore chemistry and to believe that science is wrong, yes?

So you're king is tipped. You have been given the correct answers and the science that explains it all ... but all you can manage is to grumble that science runs counter to your religio-political beliefs.

Let me know when something changes.

Do you even know what renewable means?
Do you even know why hydrocarbons are renewable, or what the Fischer-Tropsh process is? No? I see.

Electric vehicles are superior in acceleration, and are inferior in all other respects. The additional premium life-cycle costs of electrics is not justified by their superior acceleration.

Yups...oil companies are massively subsidized by tax payers.
Moron. Oil companies are heavily taxed by the Federal, State and local governments, unfairly so, and We the People are the ones who end up getting fleeced because those outrageous taxes get passed along to us.

Not only do all governments heap on their own excise taxes, they feel obligated to pile on a litany of fees and surcharges to every gallon. That money goes straight to the government(s). How do you get oil company subsidies out of all that?

Idiot.
