It is not a sad day for America, it’s a sad day for Donald Trump. The sad day for America was 1/6 and everyday before today and his trying to hold on to power, illegally.

We should all celebrate that a criminal is being held accountable to the rule of law. It's what makes America great.

There is a dichotomy here. To celebrate the application of law. But to lament that we let such a person rise to the position of power we did.

But especially sad, or maybe disconcerting is a better word, that such a good percentage of our country can’t/won’t recognize him for what he is.

Trump used a bail bondsman to post bail. All he had to do was give the court 20 K and he was done with that part. Now he has to pay for his services. So Trump could not come up with 20K? What was that about?
