RACIST WHITE LIB calls school choice FASCIST - but sends own son to private school

"The president of Chicago Teachers Union has sent her eldest son to a private school in the city, it has emerged - a month after she called those who supported school choice 'fascists'.

Stacy Davis Gates, who in 2018 tweeted that private schools were 'segregation academies', enrolled her son 14 year-old son Kevin this term in a Catholic school. Her younger two children attend a Chicago public elementary school.

When critics accused her of hypocrisy, she said that she was doing the best for her son, because public schools in her neighborhood were poor quality."

What a disingenuous post!!!

Anybody who can afford it can send his/her kid to private schools,
including union officials, public school teachers, public school committee members, or anybody else.

This fact has less than nothing to do with how the public school system is administered.


The two are, and should be, completely unrelated.

It is the height of hypocrisy to advocate for public schools and claim they do a great job of teaching students while sending your own children to a private school. I have no problem with some rich fuck sending their kids to private school as they aren't the ones pushing for public education and making claims about it. A teacher's union head, or government official who does that and then turns around and publicly claims public schools are the best and everyone should attend, especially when they press for limiting or eliminating alternatives, is nothing but a lying hypocrite.

Private schools should be privately paid for.
The pachys want the taxpayers to provide vouchers for them.
Absolutely absurd.

Public schools are the public's business,
and I personally don't see any hypocrisy
with any public employees or union officials
sending kids to private schools.

Where you work and where you send your kids to school are totally unrelated.

I see it more the way Arizona has gone. The student is what's important here, not the school. The state pays the school to teach the student. Doesn't matter what school, private, charter, public, whatever. What matters is the school is effective in turning out educated graduates.

When you do that, and unions absolutely hate this, it means that teachers and schools have to be efficient and effective at producing results. That's what counts. If public schools turn out a shitty graduate, then they should wither on the vine and go under. If a private school does the same it should go under.

I am absolutely against public education and government having a monopoly on education, and that is exactly what the Left, teacher's unions, and the Democrats want. For them, it's all about the process, and the results are irrelevant.
 
Teachers unions have destroyed our public schools. Truth is we don't even need teachers after the kids have been taught to read and can teach themselves.
