Man, I remember when folks got up in arms because W. did a flyby in NYC. Nowadays we're comparing the flat fictional history of Presidents.
I prefer the flyby "issue" to this total lack of simple reality. I don't remember Bush telling me mythical stories about his ancestors getting purple hearts, and he actually was there at ground zero on 9/12... but I don't remember him trying to brag about it.
When you look back and see W and think, boy I wish the current pResident and the republican frontrunner had that kind of class there is one thing you should be thinking...
This nation has gone of the freakin' sanity track into an area where when the pResident tries to claim some fictional heroism we stand around comparing the fictional history of someone else rather than just telling them to shut the hell up and stop trying to claim false glory.
From his attempt to get sympathy and give stolen honor to his son by telling gold star mothers his son's death was just like her son's death to fictional accounts of his long Truck Driving career to fictional accounts of visits to ground zero... this guy makes me wish that W could run again, he'd just wipe the floor with this idiot and his false glory grabs all while messing up words and stuttering a bit.

We certainly do agree on the downward spiral part,
even if we strongly disagree on the reason.
Maybe we can discuss this further when we all meet at the bottom of the debris.

pResident Haley Joel Brandon-McFanFic Jr. was an Iraq cheerleader. Unless you want to magically make his vote go away with more fictional history. He was furthering his career in fictional history writing when he tried to pretend he was against the war. One of 77 Senators that voted to start that mess along with starting the longest running campaign in US history, then fumbling on the withdrawal and killing countless Afghani allies and civilians, they literally rained from the sky dropping from our airplanes.
Though I am sure you will remember I was against it from the beginning, and unlike Brandon I was also against starting anything in Afghanistan because they wouldn't declare war. The War Powers Act is a power grab, and every conflict we've gotten into since its passing has been a fallacy. If you aren't willing to declare war and go into it wholeheartedly, don't go at all is my opinion.
