You have it all wrong. IE Biden said America and the European allies were not giving Ukraine loan guarantees if a known corrupt prosecutor was involved with them. The European allies all agreed to those terms. There was no Burism prosecution. They had one a couple of years earlier centered in Environmental misdeeds. Huter was not working there at that time.
 
Menendez disagreed with Biden's Iran policy. Something about giving 6 billion dollars to terrorist state that is building a nuke being a bad idea.

The reaction from some of Menendez’s fellow Democrats to the new indictment might surprise those accustomed to how some Republicans have responded to criminal charges against former President Donald Trump.
New Jersey’s leading Democratic officials have called on the senior senator from their state to resign.
The second-term Democratic governor's response was "I am calling for his immediate resignation".
Mikie Sherrill, Josh Gottheimer, Bill Pascrell, Donald Norcross and New Jersey General Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin (all democrats) joined the voices calling for Menendez to resign.
Sen. John Fetterman, a fellow senator from Pennsylvania called publicly for Menendez to step down.
Not one Democratic official has responded the way Trump’s GOP allies did to the former president’s criminal cases.

You can have unethical criminals from either party but when it's a Democrat the other Democrats have no problem with telling the guy to resign.
When you have a twice impeached Republican guilty of raping a woman and facing nearly 100 felony charges the republican just makes excuses for the criminal.
