I have heard that Ukraine did not have either the intellectual ability or the economic ability to do anything with the Soviet Nukes.

I'd say economic more than intellectual. They, of all the satellite states, were close with Russia as they shared a core language. The differences in "Ukrainian" and modern Russian is "Ukrainian" has some old tenses they dropped in modern Russian. They absolutely understand each other, it is more like us and England than it is some mysteriously incomprehensible babble. (Polish is like that, like Portuguese and Spanish they almost sound like you should understand them, but you can't). Their scientists worked on things like nukes, and war machines, in Chernobyl (f*cked that one up, ay?) etc.

The science was there, but the resources were probably not. That wouldn't change what I said though, that Ukraine is likely wishing they had never believed Russia now.

Saying that you "heard" something isn't "education" though. Resources among the entire former USSR were limited, I can give you that much. But pretending they'd never be able to do "anything" with them because of codes? That's just blather.

Biden tried to get Zelensky to leave Ukraine at the start of the war but after Zelensky told Biden he would expose Joe taking bribes Joe opened America's check book.

Trump doesn't seem to have any enthusiasm for supporting Ukraine and Trump can't even bring himself to criticize and excoriate Putin.


That is a harbinger for what American support for Ukraine is going to look like in a Trump administration. He is going to appoint like minded people.

Russia takes all of the EAST and makes Ukraine a landlocked Rump by also taking Odessa et al....the Poles likely take the rest....the result of this Western aggression + Ukrainian NAZI hate of the Russians is that Ukraine dies.

So Biden's first instinct was to have Zelensky abandon the Capital. If Zelenshy had done that he would have never been able to rally the Ukrainian people. Thank god he was able to defend Kyiv by using the Javelins and other weapons Trump had sent to Ukraine. I doubt the Blankets Obama/Biden sent were helpful though.
