I'm recording the second Republican Debate, but after 15 minutes, it was clear is was just an unruly shit-slinging contest so I switched to a recording of the evening news. Also recorded are the after debate synopsis.

Where to watch the debate
The second GOP primary debate is taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 27 starting at 9 p.m. ET and will last two hours. It’s airing on Fox News Channel and Fox Business, as well as their streaming platforms. A Spanish-language feed of the debate will air on Univision.

Who is attending the event?
The field’s early front-runner, Donald Trump, is skipping the event, just as he did the first. He’ll be 2,000 miles away trying to woo union workers in Michigan amid a labor strike. The candidates on stage will be Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.

It was ugly so I switched. They were talking all over each other, the mods had little control over them and it was just a lot of shouting and bitching. I'll save the recording so that if anything interesting pops in the post-debate reports, I'll go back to it.

Yup, it was a shooting match but I liked Nikki Haley and Chris Christie. Haley has a pair. She's smart and knowledgeable. I'd vote for her if the MAGA Republiclowns weren't in Congress.
 
It was a shit show. A panel of know nothing children.

Trump will never have to show up for a single debate and will increase his lead in days.

She'd be a good President, but I strongly doubt the MAGAt movement controlling the Republican Party would nominate a woman much less a woman of color.

Principal: Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
