House GOP to present evidence against Biden in first impeachment hearing

They are going to present evidence that they have no evidence and they are complete fools. See yesterdays press conference. One of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen. Good luck, losers.

Hunter can sell whatever the fuck he wants. He can say 'I am able to crap gold' and charge any derp willing to pay him, millions of dollars.

If he crosses a legal line doing that, then he gets prosecuted.

Joe does not. That is not how the law works. We do not punish the parents for the sins of the sons (kids) but if you want to try and press that law, go for it.

Re the hearings, can you point me to a single fact that is not 'what Hunter did' and instead is what 'Joe did'?

Because every Republican asked on tv interviews, including on friendly right wing derp media, says they 'HAVE NO FACTS CONNECTING JOE.. BUT THEY ARE WORKING ON IT' or some version of that.

Why do we have to explain the same fucking things to these morons? Are they really that dense or just playing the dumb asshole role?

And that is the problem you have as those two points are EXACTLY the thing the republi'cans' admit repeatedly they have no proof of.

i will explain to you again the ugly waters of legal and shady lobbying or selling the perception of influence, in a way a child should understand.

If you, ExpressLane, were to achieve a high office, like King Derp, or Governor or POTUS, instantly you would have family members (kids, siblings, etc), ex business partners, and even just friends, WHO COULD LEGALLY enter the lobbying world, or join Boards, etc, and would be pursued for such, based on the fact that they know you and the hope that relationship could potentially garner the Lobby group, or corporation some benefits.

THERE IS NOTHING ILLEGAL ABOUT THAT SENTENCE NO MATTER HOW DISTASTEFUL WE MIGHT FIND IT, ESPECIALLY IF THE PERSON HAS NO QUALIFICATIONS OTHER THAN WHO HE KNOWS.

So now, ExpressLane does have a family member and prior business colleague who are both cashing on that relationship.

What laws has ExpressLane broke so far?

None. those guys are selling the PERCEIVED access to you but as long as it can NEVER be demonstrated YOU did something wrong or illegal, you are not responsible for what they did, WHICH IS ALSO LEGAL.

And that is it ExpressLane. The ENTIRETY of what you guys do is point to Expresslanes sibling and/or business partner and say 'What do you think they are selling'....' Thus Expresslane is guilty'. And that is just wrong. And stupid.

Post of the day.

These are just the first witnesses ;)

Right. When do you think the first fact witnesses will appear? And who are they?

domer, they are just hiding them for now. Even from their fellow Republi'cans' who are eager to vote for the Impeachment Inquiry or a full impeachment if ONLY they could see some real facts.

Republi'can' after republi'can' though states in interviews that as of yet, they have not been presented with a single fact. NOT ONE. And it all instead what ExpressLane is doing above and painting a picture of Hunter wrong doing and then asking people to simply attribute it to Joe. That you only need to BELIEVE it must be true for that to be enough, even when devoid of a single fact.

Fox Interviewer: 'BUt that is just your SUGGESTION that Joe was involved. You do not actually have ANY evidence of it.'

James Comer : 'We are working on it.'

They take their cues from Orangetweet himself. Always “soon”, “in 3 weeks”, “wait and see”, “you’ll find out”.

And it never materializes.

Post of the day.

It is pretty much a given that if the person who achieves high office was a partner in a law firm (since many are lawyers before going in to politics), that the law firm that remains almost instantly then registers as a Lobby Group.

That is entirely on the newly gained PERCEPTION, by corporations and other new clients, that the law firms prior relationship to the ex partner will give them improved access to him, other politicians and other benefits, based on their prior relationship.

They are selling the PERCEPTION of improved influence. One they may never be able to deliver on. But cashing in is PERFECTLY LEGAL.

And no matter who sells that PERCEIVED INFLUENCE, the politician is NEVER guilty, simply because OTHERS are cashing in on it.

We get tons of cases where Politicians do cross that line, and the accusations against Menendez (if true) are just that. His wife accused of selling his influence and EVIDENCE of Menendez delivering in ways that are not legal for him to do.

In the Hunter Biden examples, despite 5+ years of forensic type investigations they still have found NOTHING, ZERO, to show Joe Biden did a single thing wrong. EVERY SINGLE ACCUSATION is 'but what Hunter did stinks, so Joe must be responsible too'.

Sadly for Republi'cans' that is not how our system works.

Here is one of the VERY FIRST exchanges on this data, and as always you can see the Republican has no answer to allegations that can be backed up by an iota of fact or evidence. Just empty claims thrown against the wall.

Jump to 0.44 seconds in for the key exchange.

It is just a complete embarrassment for the Republi'cans'.
Epically stupid, but this is today’s GOP.

Rep. Jason Smith (R-Mo.) claimed*on Wednesday that President*Joe Biden was improperly involved with his son Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings, only to be thwarted by an NBC reporter’s basic question.
Smith, the*Republican chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, was holding a press conference about the Republican-led investigation into the president and his family and claimed the committee had “over 700 pages of examples where people should be very concerned.”

Although Smith was probably hoping he could throw some red meat to conservatives, NBC reporter Ryan Nobles got in the way simply by asking Smith to explain the timing of the pieces of alleged evidence.
The reporter wondered about the relevance of a WhatsApp message Hunter Biden allegedly sent in 2017, when Donald Trump was the U.S. president and Joe Biden hadn’t yet announced his 2020 presidential run.
“If he’s not the president or the vice president at that time, where’s the wrongdoing? He wasn’t even a candidate for president at that time,” Nobles asked.
“He was a candidate,” the Republican insisted, incorrectly.*(Joe Biden announced his presidential candidacy in 2019.)
“What source are you with?” Smith then asked Nobles.
After Nobles replied that he worked for NBC, Smith shot back,*“So, apparently you’ll never believe us.”
Nobles then tried to explain that his question had nothing to do with disbelief, but just trying to get the facts straight.
“You presented a piece of evidence that you say came on August 6th, 2017, that demonstrates that Joe Biden was using political influence to help his son. But he wasn’t a political figure at that time,” Nobles said. “The first WhatsApp message you put up — how does that demonstrate that there was some sort of political influence being put over him if, at that time, he is not a political, not an elected official?”
Smith got defensive, saying he was “definitely*not going to pinpoint one item,” only to have Nobles remind him, “You presented it!*It was [the] first thing that you brought up.”*
“So apparently you don’t agree with that,” Smith replied.
“It’s not that I don’t agree with that. I’m asking you to explain it,” Nobles insisted.
Smith decided to cut his losses.*
“I’ll take the next question,” he said

The IRS and DOJ forbade the IRS whistleblowers from including Joe Biden in their investigation.

“There were certain investigative steps we weren’t allowed to take that could have led us to President Biden,” Shapley told CBS reporter Jim Axelrod.

Thomas and wife, Ginny, cashed in all the time on position. Where are the righties on that?

I watched it. Humiliating for the guy.

“could have”

LOL

Epically stupid, but this is today’s GOP.

it's very reminiscent of seeing the Two IRS "Whistleblowers" sitting in Congress, talking about how they saw constant signs of 'interference' and the 'Hunter investigation being obstructed', and then when the Dems questioned them on time lines, they squirmed and and squirmed and had to be asked over and over, who was POTUS at those times and who was in charge of DoJ and IRS?

That answer of course was 'Trump'. His DoJ and his IRS. Biden was not in government in any role.

So if there was this interference and slow rolling it was because Trump was protecting Hunter and not Joe. But of course Derp media only reports to the derps of the CLAIMS of 'slow rolling and interference' and not that 'if true then the blame was on Trump and not Biden'.

The only thing the Republiclowns have left is 'could have'.

You can tell they're panicking over the trump indictments and where they could lead.

All the Democrats have is Hunter was just selling an "illusion" of Joe Biden's power. Burisma wanting Biden's help stopping their investigation and Joe Biden getting the investigation of Burisma stopped is a pretty strong "illusion". :palm:
