More Republicans see Trump as ‘person of faith’ than Pence, Romney: poll

More than half of Republicans see former President Donald Trump as a person of faith, a higher percentage than those who said the same of more vocally religious politicians such as former Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), a recent poll found.

The survey, conducted by HarrisX for Deseret News, asked registered voters which politicians they considered to be people of faith.

Among Republicans, Trump earned the top position, with 53 percent of voters thinking he is a person of faith...

Trump ranking at the very top of all Politicians , in terms of being a person of faith, amongst the Trump derps, is proof positive that no amount of reason, logic or sanity will ever get through. Any question you ask them they will see Trump as the best.

If you asked them who would win in a fight, a prime Mike Tyson or Trump today, they would say Trump.

I only picked Pence because I don't think Romney get his religion in the way of politics.

Now are you also amongst the Derps who thinks Trump is at the top of the politician pile in terms of them 'having strong faith'?

Romney and Pence are both of the school that if you put your hand on the bible and swear an oath, you are not just conversing with another person. They believe that you are making a direct connection to God and then making him a promise (to uphold the Constitution) or lying to God directly, if you tell a lie.

That is considered one of the most serious sins for a religious person and thus why the practice of making people swear in, in court, was started. A belief that even a person who commited a crime against another human (which is a bad thing) would still tend to be honest under oath, as losing their human freedom (jail) was much better than having their immortal soul committed to hell for eternity.

Holy shit! Please, Sweet Baby Jesus, don’t tell me that there are actually conscious people who think Trump is a person of faith. That sociopath is the last person I would characterize that way. And that includes this non-believer.
