Is there media outrage? I mean, why now? Anything remotely resembling outrage was listed on other media exchanges as "rabidly conservative" reporting.

I'm not sure this kind of broken promise rises to the level of "outrage." The media wasn't screaming about Bush saying he wouldn't engage in nation-building during the lead-up to the Iraq invasion or aftermath.

I've seen coverage of it; I don't think it's a real headline-grabber as far as promises go...

He didn't, the nations are still ass busted.

But its true that Bush ran as a non-interventionist against nation-building.

Beats me. I just wonder if this kind of cynical arrogant "Leadership" would have been so entirely ignored by our unbiased Media if one would substitute, say...."Bush/Hastert" for "Pelosi/Reid"....
 
Why do you libs always bring up Bush when your party screws up? I thought y'all were supposedly so smart, ethical, and just better than republicans. :pke:
