An 11-year-old boy has been charged with attempted second-degree murder after shooting two teenagers at football practice, Apopka police said.

McKinley said the 11-year-old got into an altercation with two 13-year-olds. The child went to his mother’s car and grabbed an unsecured gun, which police say he used to shoot one teenager in the arm and the other in the torso.

It has a Republican mayor. "The area"? I guess you can say that about everywhere in America, because the area of the USA went to Biden. But the city of Apopka is extremely Republican.
 
It's clearly time to ban football.

This was Pee Wee league practice..
Rather doubtful the disagreement had anything to do with football.. and these kids were pretty young to be fed up with anything already.... time to get to work and focus on encouraging parents to bring up their properly.. that's where our big problem lies...

No male parent present in the home, no discipline, drugs, violence…these children have no chance.

That particular combination certainly doesn't give kids the best chance that's for sure.

I would think that children brought up poorly are primarily a result

of parents that had no business having kids.

Qualified parents DO bring up their children properly, TOP.

They don't really require any encouragement, do they?

We have very few problems in America that can't be traced directly to irresponsible procreation.

I suspect that the latter, irresponsible procreation, is the primary cause of human misery globally.

We glorify family living and try to make it the default mode,

but we see clearly from their performance

that many are simply not suited for it.

We need to keep breeding exclusively in the hands of qualified breeders.

We need some sort of testing and licensing for procreation.

All other sex should be purely recreational....with no accidents tolerated.

That's the way I see it, anyway.

All that being said people are still having kids... so we can't give up...your ideas are never going to catch on I'm afraid ...

Human history tells us that the best ideas often don't catch on.
To be implemented, they must often be imposed.

China came right out and said "one kid per family"
and their national standard of living soared.

Imagine if they were willing to take it a step or two beyond that?

Irrelevant "freedoms" aren't the goal for humanity, or at least they shouldn't be.
The goal is living well.

People with prime rib on their plates are happy and they feel free.

I never felt aggrieved at Caesars Palace....
until I had to fly home and go back to work.

Nothing makes people happier than living well.
Perfectly free homeless people are miserable.

Family Planning would be nice... but as you realize...especially these days...that will never happen here..... I got a request to pick up a puppy .. with baby number 9 coming home no room or time to care for the year old puppy...who just recently had a litter... I did not ask where the puppies were... you like prime rib and being comfortable some people like having children and not being comfortable...go figure...

Well, at least it disproves the theory that deep down, we're all the same.
I'll admit to never having understood that theory,
but I've know sincere people who really believe it.
