Whether 16 is dozens or not has no bearing on whether anyone would deploy 16 carriers to Eastern Mediterranean.
There are 16 NATO carriers. They are not all deployed to the Eastern Mediterranean.
Guno already explained that he meant dozens of ships, not dozens of carriers. He miswrote what he was thinking.
