Hearings begin as Trump critics attempt to kick him off ballots

Starting on Monday in Denver, a week-long hearing featuring witnesses and legal scholars will explore whether Jan. 6 qualified as an insurrection, which could bar Trump from the ballot in Colorado. On Thursday, the Minnesota Supreme Court will hear arguments about whether an obscure part of the Constitution might keep Trump off the ballot there. In coming weeks, courts around the country might hold similar proceedings.

I guess the Democrats, Progressives, and Left have such shitty ideas, a poor political platform, worthless candidates to run that it leaves them no choice but to use the courts to try and keep Trump from being on the ballot in 2024 rather than just beating him at the ballot box...

In that Trump is a terrible candidate, the above says that the US public thinks the ideas of the Left are even worse. How shitty do your ideas and positions have to be that you can't beat Trump in an election?

I just criticized him you tard. Trump is a shitty candidate.

What you cannot grasp is that the Democrat positions, stuff they're doing, and politicians are so much shittier that they make Trump attractive to nearly half of the US population. That is, Trump is for shit, but compared to the Democrat's he's far less shitty than they are and therein lies his attractiveness to voters.

Not even close. The Dems are not offering candidates that are a threat to end the American experiment. Trump does not care about America at all. He loves the power and immunity that the position offers. He is proof that the wealthy never think they have enough of anything. What they are taking is your money and your power for themselves. Biden is a normal president doing normal things that presidents do.

You don't get it. If the Democrats were offering good candidates and political ideas, Trump would be a true dumpster fire in the polls. But he's not. That argues that regardless of what you (or I) think about Trump, the Democrats are offering a worse alternative to the American public as a whole. That's why Trump is likely to beat Biden. Maybe the Democrats should focus on getting better candidates and political positions rather than be focused on getting Trump.
Of course, that in turn argues the Democrats either can't or won't improve their political positions and candidates..

We did beat Trump in an election. Handily.

He lost the popular vote to Secretary Clinton in 2016 as well.
That year, the mistakes of a pigshit constitution elected Trump, not the American people.

It's absurd to suggest that the "US public" collectively thinks anything at all.

The "US public" is comprised of angry factions that viscerally hate one another.
