The tunnels are connected so flooding them would force Hamas to the surface and deny them the use of their tunnel system.
You understand how obvious it is that you are suffering from a Dunning–Kruger Effect?

Cheap linear explosives would be more effective. Collapsing tunnels means they are forever unusable unless rebuilt at great effort and expense, while flooded ones can be easily pumped out...

And you are suffering from the dumbass effect. Right now Hamas can pop up to fight then disappear back into a tunnel. If the tunnels were flooded they would be denied to Hamas thus reducing the space where Hamas can hide. That is a good thing. Israel has flooded tunnels before and it worked for them. I expect they may try it again. You understand how obvious it is that you are suffering from a Dunning–Kruger Effect?
The hostages are in the tunnels, so lets kill them also!
They’re done already.
Israel slits its own throat....they are actually this ignorant.
They both do.
They both do/are.
Hamas won, and Hamas won all the way.

Pretty much.They’re done already.
That is what I was thinking. Flush them out with water might give hostages a chance once the terrorists are flushed to the surface kill them. I would broadcast that if you come out with a live hostage and give up you will not be killed. Dead hostages mean everyone of you die too.I'm not sure how stable the tunnels would be after flooding. But blowing them up after the flooding could also be done as a second step to ensure they are never used again.![]()
Hamas won, and Hamas won all the way.
They are dead men walking.
They both do/are.
