I honestly believe that the way witless Americans have butchered democracy,
autocracy or annihilation will soon be our only options.

If we go the annihilation route, at least our troubles will be over.
If we go the autocracy route, I'll take a hard left autocracy over a hard right one every time.

The good people of Vietnam who, for better of worse, failed to truncate my life,
seem to be living much happier under Vo than under Diem.

In any case our deficient constitution has finally gotten us into a pickle
that probably can't be fixed democratically.
