I am sure the social gospel of the New Testament informs Senator Warnock's and Jimmy Carter's consciences on public issues of equality, the general welfare, and social justice.

Biden would probably be the first to admit his faith informs his values, and his values guide some of his policy preferences.

The problem is when government actively shows favoritism to one religion, and requires public school teachers to lead classroom prayer, or to require judges to openly display the Decalogue in court.

Do you not believe they should be separate? And in areas where Muslims may be able to take political power at a Federal, State or city level, do you think they should be able to impose Islamic law and force it on those who are not Muslim?

Would you support Muslims being able to use their faith as a basis for the laws in the US? Laws that are infused with and informed with their faith and others are forced to follow?
