3.2% inflation

Told the truth?

Seems pretty simple. Americans don't need to be treated like children. They can handle tough news.

They did, too. A lot of them realized that the mask mandates and the 'vaccine' mandates were bogus. A lot of them also realized the election was stolen. They also realize the WOKE mentality (i.e. racism) and the sexual perversion being pushed on society by Democrats is bogus and destructive.

Americans across the country as mad as hell...at DEMOCRATS.

Was it "the truth" to tell Americans that by spring of '20, the virus would just magically disappear, like a miracle?

The virus has done like viruses tend to usually do. COVID has mutated and decreased in strength and has disappeared from being the danger that it was. Trump was correct it is no longer the same danger that it was. The only people I see wearing mask are liberal morons.

No - I'll correct that for you It was not truthful to tell Americans that by spring of '20, the virus would just magically disappear, like a miracle.

Hope I've cleared that up.

Interesting whataboutism.

Hardly. Cuomo's handling of Chinese Disease in NY got him removed from office. It was easily the biggest disaster of the whole epidemic. Trump for example early on started limiting incoming flights from other nations, something the Democrats pilloried him for, yet it proved a correct move.

Trump's total response wasn't great, but it was a damn sight better than Cuomo's or Newsome's, the two most populous states in the US.

My former medical partner is a petroleum geologist. He buys leases and works ups the geology and determines where to drill. Then he sells the lease to a producer. He always has a 1/16th override. If he KEEPS those shares rather than selling them then I invest in the project because I knows he has a high degree of confidence. So far it has worked out very well. We have been very successful in natural gas. He and I bought 1200 acres near Midlothian Texas and hit gas then bought 360 acres near it and it hit too. But yes some of our first wells are in decline.

My wife constantly complains about the lack of availability of products at Krogers so she hits two or three stores to find what she wants.

Mine were in the heart of oil country in Texas, outside of San Antonio near Gonzales. They were all newly drilled wells and the first year the checks were five figures a month for my share. I won't say what the checks for the sales were but they make Hunter Biden look like an amateur...

Well the Biden economy hasn't really hurt me because I have shares in producing oil wells. The increase in the price of oil has actually helped my monthly income substantially. Since I own my home and my vehicles the only thing that is much worse for me is food . And I don't eat much. Inflation has hurt some of my relatives and I help them out.

With US oil production at an all time high, and Biden able to accomplish what Trump never could in actually getting the Oil Companies to utilize the drilling they had but were sitting on you must also be very happy with Biden on that too.

 Trump got TWO vaccines produce 4 times faster than any vaccine had ever been produced.
^^^So is this on the positives list now as i thought that was supposed to be his biggest failure and waste of time?

Trump got ventilators and hospital supplies manufactured using wartime powers. He had to replace supplies that Obama and Biden had depleted and not replaced. Trump supplied floating hospital ships and huge field hospitals to New York and other cities. Trump oversaw the production of therapeutics at a record setting pace. COVID was a novel virus and every medicine for it was new. Trump got it done in record time. If that is what you consider botched then maybe you should reconsider your flawed reasoning. What led to more job loses was states like NY Mich. Calf. Staying shut down LONG after states like Florida and Texas were open for business.
Trump did do all those things. I give him full credit for mobilizing a war like effort to get those things.

But that is only Step 1 to helping citizens.

What Trump failed to do was the next step and that greatly damaged America. That is clear decisive Leadership with clear decisive messaging so people will rally and act. Instead until the beginning of March 2020 Trump was still saying Covid was not going to be a problem in the US and was denying 'cases' which allowed for the early mass spread to be way worse leading to the horrific death toll. THAT is on Trump. The rest of the World, including China and the WHO had already acknowledged the threat and danger and Trump stood alone in being wrong.

And right up to hand off to Biden, Trump's ability to manage his team and have coherent leadership and messaging to the public was a mess.

Hogwash. Production was going up under Trump more sharply. By this time it should be much higher than it peaked in the Trump administration. We are millions of barrels lower in production lower than we would have been at this point if Trump were still in office. If you are worried about oil companies having drilled oil leases you know nothing about how the oil industry works. Oil leases must be drilled in a set time period or the company will lose the lease and not get the money they paid for the lease back. It happened to me Chesapeake Energy lease the right drill for gas in the gas bearing formation that runs under my neighborhood. They would have horizontal drilled from a sight out of the neighborhood. Gas prices fell and Chesapeake didn't drill within the three years so they lost the $10k they paid me and that they paid each and everyone of my neighbors.

:blah::blah::blah::blah::blah: you need to stop watching CNN.

So under Biden you admit we are doing way better than under Trump, in terms of pumping Oil. So that is good start for you to admit that.

I am not much in to the guessing and theorizing game where you speculate things could be even better if Trump was still in power and you want to count that as it is stupid. I could say if Biden was in power in 2016 instead of Trump, Biden would have outperformed Trumps economy in every area, and thus no one did well under Trump as they would have done better under Bidens hypothetical economy. When anyone is resorting to arguments of 'Ya i am doing great... Oil is doing great... but it could be better', you know they have lost.

Obama BIDEN were in power before Trump and if you look the us went from around 8 million a day when Obama BIDEN were in office to over 13 million when Trump was in office . That is about a 165% increase. If we increased at the same rate we should be near 21 million barrels now.

Yes but if Biden took office in 2016 instead of Trump we would have easily doubled what Trump did. Over 200% increase.

Look at how Biden is now crushing Trumps numbers after inheriting from Trump an economy in chaos. Imagine if instead Biden inherited the great economy Trump did from Obama, and how much better it would be.

When Biden increases production at the same rate that Trump increased production let me know.

“We may get back to 13 million barrels a day,” he said, which would match the record high average recorded in November 2019 by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. But he added it will be at a “very slow pace,” taking two and half to three years to match that previous record level.

For consumers, that means gas prices are more likely to stay within the current range, and pricing risk be tilted to the upside later this year.

According to the EIA, an average of 11.9 million barrels of U.S. crude oil were produced per day in 2022, below the record in 2019 of an average of 12.3 million barrels per day. The EIA is forecasting a new record for this year, but barely higher, at an average of 12.4 million barrels per day.

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/03/09/us-...g to the EIA, an,12.4 million barrels per day.
