What's wrong with calling for unconditional surrender?
Hamas started a war with Israel. Why should Israel stop fighting that war until they either win or lose--well, we know they're going to win but that's not the point...

Yes, this is the horror wrought by barbarians that use hostages and civilians as human shields.
All I know is this. Hamas and their supporters have REALLY F'd themselves this time. It should be obvious to anyone that THIS TIME will be far different then any other war Israel has ever been involved in. Israel absolutely has no intention of stopping until every single Hamas member AND their supporters are either DEAD or rotting away in prison and quite frankly most will just be killed,..much cheaper then paying for their care in prison that way. Same goes for Hezbollah or anyone else for that matter. THEY ARE DONE. THIS TIME it will be Israel implementing their FINAL SOLUTION. No stopping it either. This is the total and complete destruction of all Islamic Terror organizations. And for those who say new ones will simply spring up......Israel says GOOD.....They will ALL be killed TOO.

For sure. I'm not blaming Israel.
But people in Gaza right now are suffering in a way that few can imagine. I just don't think it's enough to shrug & say it's on Hamas. They deserve support, and better living conditions.

The Gazan gov't will just confiscate any aid or support provided to civilians. That's why they use civilian human shields. It's barbaric.
I dont think you are seeing the gravity of the situation. The IDF is NEVER leaving Gaza. They will be a " mostly peaceful" occupying force that will remain to restore order. Peaceful YES,....but will also shoot 1st and ask questions later at the drop of a hat. They are all done Fing around. Permanent fixtures in Gaza,....get used to it.

The people in Palestine / Gaza chose poorly. They decided to allow their government to be one of terrorists. They have allowed terrorists and antisemites to run their government and country. Those elements have declared war on Israel.
I can't say it better than William Sherman, an American (Union) general during the American Civil War:
Sherman had it right. Make the Palestinians suffer, suffer greatly, for their mistake in allowing Hamas and other antisemitic terrorist groups run their country. Make them regret their mistake so deeply they remedy that problem and it never happens again. The Middle East will be better for it.
No cease fire, no stopping the carnage, until Hamas and the Palestinians in Gaza cry "Never again! We want lasting peace!"
