Newsome wipes the floor with DeSantis.

I think Frank would see things differently if it were his granddaughter being terminated.

I think ANY pregnant woman who wants to terminate the pregnancy occurring in her own body should be able to do so legally and safely.

That is what I think.

And they do... but too often they don't...

Not all of them do. And no matter what...it is not for you to judge. If a pregnant woman decides to terminate the pregnancy occurring in her own body, she should be allowed to do so legally and safely.

and yet, California leads the country in poverty......

Just as you using 'DNA' in a sentence does not mean you are correct about anything you say on the topic...

... so to you using the word 'poverty' does not mean you have any of the intellect required to analyse the topic and get it correct.

The five states with the highest poverty rates are:

Mississippi - 18.8%
Louisiana - 17.4%
New Mexico - 16.2%
Arkansas - 14.7%
Alabama - 14.6%

As the wise man said, "You can't fix stupid".

Again, while you've accurately assessed the problem, I've seen no solutions offered. Do you have any?

Nope.

Complicated issues like this cannot be solved, only managed, imo.

Disagreed. Complicated issues often require complex solutions, but they can be solved.

Example; one major problem in the USA is that K-12 schools are not equal since they are not equally funded. Despite all the whining and bitching from the Alt-Right, the Feds only pay about 8% of K-12 funding. The rest is paid locally and/or state. Bumping up the Federal portion in poorer school areas would help produce better educated Americans.

Another major problem is mental health. Make mental health checkups a part of annual check ups. This can be done in 30-60 on a computer and even initially evaluated on a computer with any parameters outside the baseline or norms flagged for additional checks.

These solutions won't solve all problems or even the education and mental health problems, but it's a start.

You're using the same argument as the Lefty gun-grabbers by looking at total numbers instead of percentages. The most populous state in the Union does have the most impoverished but they are #31 for having the lowest percentage rate of impoverished.

Intelligent, honest and sane people understand both the rate and total numbers must be used in order to have a fuller understanding of the problem. Dumbasses and liars don't give a shit about truth.

they have the highest diparity between rich and poor in the country.......they have the highest real estate costs and thus the highest level of homelessness......cowhacko has proved that repeatedly over the years.......but you are right about the fact you don't give a shit about the truth......

No i posted the facts.

You are trying to deliberately cherry pick data that uses California's extreme wealth and high housing prices to skew the data in ways most experts have been trying to get changed to better reflect the facts.

From your article.

...Economists consider the official rates to be misleading because of their simplistic factors, but they remain in the law...

....More than a decade ago, those who study poverty persuaded the Census Bureau to adopt a more realistic method of gauging poverty, one that takes into account differentials of living costs and other factors.

The “supplemental” rates are calculated on three years of data and California has held the top spot for a number of years, almost entirely because of its extraordinarily high costs of housing, utilities, fuel and other consumer needs.

Nationally, the new supplemental rate is 9.8% but once again California tops the states at 13.2 percent, more than a third higher than the national rate....

isn't it cherry picking to ignore data that shows it's cost of living is extremely high?........in effect, California's poverty is low only if you ignore what it costs people to live there........

Percentage-wise or total numbers?

You and your fellow minions are expected to lie about me and other honest people, Pmp. You know you're going to Hell so you've given up trying to redeem yourself.

My annual Medicare check-up comes with this. A week or so before your appointment, they send a detailed questionnaire for you to fill out online. The physician then goes over it with you and discusses any anomalies. They ask questions about depression, domestic problems, being able to pay your bills, loneliness, social circle/friends/family, worry, symptoms of mental struggles like despair, insomnia, lack of interest, anger, etc. These would be good questions to ask any patient, not just we elders.

I can't see him lasting long down there. The Devil hates competition. lol

That data matters, but if the reason you are defined as poor, is because it is weighted too heavily versus what Mark Zuckerberg and others of the super rich earn, then that is a problem.

Meaning you do not want to see an area not defined as poor because EVERYONE is poor and there is no contrast, while in another area where everyone is even poorer there are not considered poor as that contrast with some rich does not exist.

Which is why outside this single CHERRY PICKED example, if you look at how the States are ranked by pretty much EVERY OTHER organization, you get these lists.

There were numerous more such data sets i could have posted, but they ALL confirmed the above and became redundant.
