Just like Ma, 2 to 1 independents pick repubs even though they don't like them.

Heard this on Air America Radio

I love the "even though they don't like them" qualifier.

America needs a new party...

totally agree middle moderate party, now's the best time but don't expect it.

Progressive's are mocking Ried worse than any repub I've ever heard.

middle moderate party ???

Didn't you hear Dean say that Democrats should not move to the middle, they would then just be Republicans....

Obviously admitting that dems are "far left", no where near the middle...I hope the News folks picked that Dean sound bite, up and play the hell out of it...

Bush was one of the top 5 worst Presidents of all time...

I heard him, progressives have 1 massive problem.
They (limosine liberals) think they are being so nice to poor people, but none of them know dick about business. And they ignore that every entitlement program usually cost exponentially more.
I think independents know this, and Ried and co want re-election more than they want Obama's agenda. Thus the flinstone brakes through the floor on HC.

Agreed.

The time is right. The complete failure of the Rep leadership is still fresh in the minds of voters. The inept leadership of Pelosi, Reid and Obama is also glaring.

Obama was right on one thing... It is a time for change.

From a two party system to a multiple party system.

Brown/superfreak ticket teaparty anti tax anti Gigantic Gov.

I dont know if any party can wrestle the power away from those who hold it and give it back to the people.

I'm begining to think we are all just fucked.

Hmmm... while I agree he was bad... not sure if I would go that far...

Buchanon, Hoover, Harding, Fillmore, Harrison, Andy Johnson, Pierce, Grant

The above are not in any particular order... but I would have a hard time placing Bush below any of them....

your thoughts?

Okay; top 10 worst, maybe.

He was bad.

It's funny, though - my dislike for him is gone. I saw him at the Cowboys game the other day, and I had no visceral reaction whatsoever.

I guess the cure for BDS is to just have him out of office....

While not a fan of the Doughfaces, Fillmore is generally recognized as the only decent president between Polk and Lincoln. And Harrison (I'm assuming you mean Benjamin) was definitely superior to Cleveland, and I would say pretty good overall, although certainly not as good as Arthur or McKinley.

The others all sucked. One of my least favorites is Tyler, and I would of course place Wilson near the bottom.
