For the reverse racism neocon/ morons

No, we're looking at the fact that if the a white boy had been in his position, he never would have been given a second glance, let alone stopped.

Save your snarky comments for your gated community, I live here and see what the system is like on a daily basis.

a "fact"

shove off you self righteous snob....you pretentious wanker....you mock where i live (i don't live in a gated community bigot)....yet think you're so much better because of where you live....the irony

on a daily basis...let's see some facts to back that up

If that's the way you interpret posts, you suck. :)

I don't know where you live but I sure as heck know you don't live in Pgh. because if you did, you wouldn't make such naive statements about the way things are done here. There were close to 100 complaints filed just in the few days the G-20 summit was here, for starters.

I'm talking about my knowledge of what happens in my city, whereas you're going by what you read in one newspaper article.

FYI two of the three cops in the Miles case have had complaints lodged against them before for the same kind of behaviour, and received penalties for their actions.

IMO you've taken a beating on this thread and are now trying to recover by going on the offensive. Have fun, as long as you realize that you're arguing for the sake of argument and not actually addressing the facts. :cof1:

City Council on Tuesday approved a $75,000 settlement with Jordan Miles, 20, whose lawsuit continues in U.S. District Court against the officers who arrested him two years ago in Homewood. Miles, who is black, alleges the white officers never identified themselves as police when they "beat him to a pulp" and violated his civil rights after stopping him in January 2010 while he walked near the home of his mother and grandmother.

A Downtown attorney representing the officers said they were simply doing their jobs. The officers were in a high-crime area at night, saw Miles near a house and stopped him, said Bryan Campbell. He said Miles ran and resisted arrest. In May, federal officials announced they would not charge the officers. The city reinstated them, and all remain with the department.

"They used the force that was reasonable and necessary to subdue him," Campbell said
The bolded part should be very scary for all. If the courts determine that simply being in an area that is a high crime area, even if you have a right to be there, is probable cause to be stopped, then we have a huge problem. The feds, of course, refused to charge the officers. Seeing how some of you fuckheads believe the federal government telling them the moon is made of green cheese, these 3 tax feeding pigs were just doing their job.

so, those of you in pittsburgh deserve the corrupt protection racket you're 75k in settlement money has bought.
