I've been following politics now for over 50 years. In half a century, the GOP has never, ever been for the working man and woman. They have encouraged low taxation on wealthy individuals and on corporations, while encouraging corporations to escape paying decent wages (and taxes) by outsourcing. MAGATs cry over lost industries and jobs but refuse to look at who's responsible. It is not the Democrats.

Yep, since Nixon. Thing is, it's hard to be in that office and not due at least one or two good things for the people that transcends party politics. But given the cast of characters in the GOP world, that's becoming far and few between, if not being offset by all the evil they do.

Prominent investors have signaled their intent to halt their business in New York following the $355 million verdict in former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud case.

Real estate mogul Grant Cardone announced on Tuesday that his firm Cardone Capital would no longer underwrite New York real estate, one day after Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary vowed to no longer invest in the state as a result of the verdict.

The GOP no longer exists. It'd been dying since Newt and his Angry White Man revolution, but Trump killed off the core in the 2018 Midterms. A few remnants were driven off such as Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney, but there is no longer a Grand Old Party, just "the Republican Party" AKA Party of Trump.
