This lie, son.
which evil is that?
name one thing.
Evil Knievel
my childhood hero.
years of summer making plywood bike ramps in the driveway.
that was the seventies.
ahh... nostalgia.
^^^you modified your post since the transgression....
I remember the first jump, then realizing that you should stand up when jumping off the latest plywood ramp... Just sayin'....
oh yeah. you gotta stand up.
it's a real taint buster if you don't.
True that, thank the little gods my seat wasn't tiny or I'd still be part bicycle.

The problem with 'standing up' on such a large span jump, is you greatly increase the wind resistance you are facing and that will more quickly decelerate you and shorten your jump range.
The way to not do that is to sit as low as you can and try and fit within the natural slip stream of the bike, as much as you can.
So he was sacrificing his body, for increase in distance.
I found that staying a few inches above the seat was the best balance between standing and racking yourself in the seat.

Major investors pull business from New York City following Trump verdict
Prominent investors have signaled their intent to halt their business in New York following the $355 million verdict in former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud case.
Real estate mogul Grant Cardone announced on Tuesday that his firm Cardone Capital would no longer underwrite New York real estate, one day after Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary vowed to no longer invest in the state as a result of the verdict.

There is no evidence that Trump's guilty verdict was political. There is a ruling grounded in legal reasoning. Trump broke the law and was assigned his due consequences. That's the way the system is supposed to work.
If some investors want to react to the verdict by relocating, then that decision is political. The cult has proven itself eager to commit suicide for their messiah.
