They don't have to store them forever this is all discussed when people decide to have IVF treatment... it's not going to be a problem... there was a problem in Alabama because the clinic did not properly care for the precious embryos... and the lower courts refuse to acknowledge that this was indeed a loss...
Everything will be fine... no murder charges for the extra Frozen embryos if they need to be discarded and are not used for other purposes including research....IVF is a process ...and a Miracle opportunity for families who cannot conceive naturally... and it's not going to change...You are WRONG and STUPID as always and are making statements that are demonstrably false.
No CHILD can disposed of EVER simply because people put in a contract 'you can dispose of any child (embryo) i do not need or want'.
Criminal law does not allow for the disposal of anyone who is deemed a person.
STOP being so stupid.
Yup, every day that party adopts or does something so stupid that another bunch say "that's enough, I'm done, I can't associate with such assholes".

I never said "automatically" nor "haphazardly" so those are just two more of your string of lies.
What happens is the clinic consults with the family who owns them, and if that family no longer has use for them they agree they will be disposed of, by whatever procedure the clinic uses to do that.
Cost and storage space is the problem.
Again, if the parents want to keep them as them may try to use them later, then they are happy paying that storage and freezing cost. If those parents are done however, and have all the kids they now want, they will NOT want to pay for indefinite storage and freezing for something that will never be used.
And if those parents refuse to pay for the continued storage that then puts the Hospital or Clinic in a bind. They must continue to store them as they simply cannot destroy a 'child' because the parents won't pay.
Asa always you inject abject stupidity into this, in a way that makes Marjorie Greene say 'wow that was dumb'. Congrats.
No, Clinics would not simple "absorb the cost" of storing the unused extra embryos of each and every woman they treat. That would be a growing substantial cost over time. They would be forced to pass that cost on to everyone who has the procedure when this procedure is already very expensive for most in the MC and below who use it to have a family. It would almost certainly stop some people from doing it and having kids.
And you have not even addressed the other key question. What is the PURPOSE of storing frozen embryos FOREVER if the parents do not want them? Is that not cruel, if you are a christian? Never allowing those 'children' to die and thus keeping them from heaven for as long as there is electricity to keep them frozen.
It's touching to see all this phony concern for the hated state of Alabama... don't worry y'all...things will be fine. None of you have eggs in that basket anyway...![]()
No one in Alabama is going to be charged with murder for properly disposing of Frozen embryos with the permission of the parents..
Translation: The theocratic judge fucked up and this ruling will be reversed as being blindingly stupid.
Yes, this will change back to common sense but only after the Republicans spend a shitload of money defending it on court and forcing families suffer from Republican autocratic rule.
Why no compassion for the family who lost their embryos because of carelessness?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/ar...uman beings,a particular stage of development.Embryos are whole human beings, at the early stage of their maturation. The term ‘embryo', similar to the terms ‘infant' and ‘adolescent', refers to a determinate and enduring organism at a particular stage of development. Just as you and I once were infants, so too you and I once were embryos. Each of us came into being as an embryo, and developed by an internally directed and gapless process from the embryonic into and through the fetal, infant, child and adolescent stages, and into adulthood with our determinateness and unity fully intact.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/ar...uman beings,a particular stage of development. As human beings are intrinsically valuable and deserve full moral respect in virtue of what they are, it follows that they are intrinsically and equally valuable from the point at which they come into being. Even in the embryonic stage of our lives, each of us was a human being and, as such, worthy of concern and protection. Embryonic human beings, whether brought into existence by the union of gametes, somatic-cell nuclear transfer or other cloning technologies, should be accorded the respect given to human beings in other developmental stages. Their right to life should be acknowledged and respected.
Agreed. It's possible, but like you, I doubt it will happen fast enough....much to the chagrin of the Republican Party who, like after Roe v. Wade, will take a national beating over this even though it's only in Alabama.I doubt if it will be reversed in time for the Nov. election though, eh? This is just what the crumbling GOP doesn't need -- another incentive for young (child-bearing age) voters to get to the polls and vote them out.

Voter turnout is always the key to winning elections. Getting young people to register and vote will be the key to success in November. Does anyone think TOP's daughter supports this continuing war on women? TOP is a dried up prune, but any woman who gets pregnant or wants to get pregnant is being adversely affected by these archaic, theocratic rulings.
How long have you been paranoid?Well, at least literate, logical, and educated Reichwingers. Toxic is not among them. She's been a forced-birther for all the 14 years I've had her following me around from forum to forum. Whenever she gets particularly distraught, I soothe her with a donation to Planned Parenthood in her name. Over the years she has helped a lot of women this way. She helped several more yesterday!![]()
QP, Port Tack, Dutch, myself, et al are correct -- you are abysmally stupid. What part of "no one can dispose of embryos because they are considered children under the law" don't you get? And aren't you the one who always uses the forced-birth argument with others that 'it's a BABY' once conception has begun? Now it's NOT a baby, despite the state court's ruling? Let me guess. You're not just a fake teacher now. You're also a fake doctor, a fake biologist, and a fake attorney. You're just a fake.
It is very enjoyable watching you get your ass kicked here though, so please continue.
So now the right wants to try and convince us that those frozen embryos in petri dishes are babies too?
Is the right afraid they are going to win the upcoming election so they are doing everything in their power to lose?
