Post-Massapocalypse senate rankings of most vulnerable seats

FUCK THE POLICE

911 EVERY DAY
Before last tuesday, this ranking was almost evenly mixed between red and blue slots:

Just in case anyone thinks I'm going overboard by saying that if the race were held now, the Republicans would probably take the house and win seven senate seats. I don't think anyone saw the Democrats down this far this soon, besides the obnoxious gloating conservatives who are going to quote that and lie in their comments about it.

The only thing I care about is universal healthcare. After that's done I don't give a fuck if the Republicans win a hundred seats in 2010.

its all about the economy and its horrible timing to force healthcare. in 2009 while everyone is getting paycuts, losing houses, cutting back at the grocery store the dems are living it up like its 1999 with massive first dinner parties, extravagant european trips, massive pet spending projects.. People notice the class differences with the Dems. So easy for Pubs to campaign on the regular guy theme.

If I was obama I would have served soup at the first dinner.

Anyhow.. everything will change if job recovery hits early enough in 2010 so that it resonates by November.

There is no good timing for you people. You just don't ever want the uninsured to live a long and happy life.

This should've been done three months ago. We'd be "focusing on the economy" right now easily. But you guys said that "There's no need to rush!" You said that so eventually you could say "This is bad timing! Why don't we focus on the economy with almost no steps in the process left!"

My guess... unemployment will hit about 11.5% by June. As jobs start becoming more available, the unemployment number tends to spike upwards as those who quit looking for jobs re-enter the hunt and thus become 'counted' again.

If the market corrects here... it may get even worse. Right now we do not want to see the S&P close below 1084. It barely hung above it yesterday... we will see what happens today. The Dow already broke...

if we bump up the deficit now with healthcare the world is going to start dumping the dollar and we are gong to be in a lot of trouble. We are at the breaking point now yet the dems just voted to increase the limit. this madness has to stop or we are going to wind up having a dollar crisis.

The Dems voted to increase the debt ceiling because otherwise the government would have to shut down some operations in the near term. They didn't appropriate any new funds or pass any new spending.

We are in deep shit soon. prob within next ten years if we dont get the deficit down we are going to have a Dollar meltdown Argentina style.

By passing a constitutional amendment. That would be pretty much the only way possible.
Unfortunately that takes years. Why don't we use AssHat's "ignore it" policy? No reason to pay any attention to the constitution when it doesn't suit you, according to AssHat.

okay, a daunting challenge, but how could we bring that about.....
Don't do that, it's going to be even worse for Ds as time goes on. Shoot, the message of the SOTU address was "we're going to keep right on driving for what caused the loss in Mass."...

The mouth was saying, "I've heard you," the message was saying, "and I ignored it."

But didn't you know "we are all just too stupid to know what's best for us"...<sarcasm intended>
