In footage shown at the trial of the film's armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, Mr Baldwin is also seen telling her to reload the gun more quickly.

The footage played on Thursday showed Mr Baldwin gesticulating with a pistol loaded with blanks and firing the gun within close proximity to camera operators, the AFP news agency reported.

He was also seen asking Ms Gutierrez-Reed why she didn't have more weapons ready.

After the director called "cut", he said: "One more! One more! One more! Right away! Let's reload!"

He was also heard saying: "We should have two guns and both we're reloading."

"Rushing with firearms and telling someone to rush with firearms is not normal nor accepted," he told the court.

He was haphazardly playing with firearms and rushing Reed to move faster! SCREAMING

He is going down:laugh:

Waved it around? Why not? It wasn't hot according to the professional armorer. You are up in arms because of Baldwin's politics, not his actions. This is a big nothing.

Agreed. Baldwin deserves a sentence at least as long as Hannah's and, if it was up to me, twice as much since, as Executive Producer, he was responsible for the safety on the set and for his actions such using a pistol as a pointer.

Why did her job include bringing live ammunition onto the set? That was her problem, but it seems to me wrong to imprison her for it.
It didn't. My understanding is that crew members would engage in sport shooting in their off time. It was one of the safety concerns others had brought up to Baldwin.

Another, again from my understanding, is that the guns used on the set were not modified to disallow acceptance of ammunition like other sets have used. Movie ammo would use cut-down shells which would flash, smoke and bang, but not be able to shoot real ammo.

It appears to me that Baldwin shortcut safety rules in order to save money.

I wonder if anyone will ever film that movie now? What was the plot? Will we ever know?
The movie completed and wrapped last May. It usually takes a year to edit and plan for release. The notoriety may make it a hit even if it's only average.

Alec Baldwin says his movie 'Rust' has finished production more than two years after the death of original cinematographer Halyna Hutchins

They were certainly making a CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP movie...I get the sense that the vibe on set was "Ya you are getting paid very little, but we are going to have a Hell of a lot of fun".....that the negligence on set was well known and on purpose.......with Baldwin leading the childish games.

I believe I remember that there were complaints about the reckless set....and that some paychecks were late.....that money was a problem.

The film was finished a year ago but whether it will get released is open to question.

LOL. So my last two questions are still open to answers... Alec Baldwin may get the money a producer can get from a hit movie solely because he shot someone during the filming. Even if the movie sucks many folks will go just out of sheer curiosity. Like that stupid Casey Anthony series... They knew they shouldn't watch and give her money, but they did it anyway.

Because a reasonable person knows that a firearm is dangerous and not to be used in a frivolous manner--something you'd know nothing about having no experience with firearms.

She told him it was not hot. You know nothing about logic since you have no experience with it. You want him punished because you disagree with his politics.

The people who were shot will get a chunk of profits from it. You should go see it to help support her family.

That doesn't matter. If you are handed a firearm, YOU check it safe, and you handle it safely. The responsibility is YOURS.

If it's a decent movie, it'll be released. Lots of money from outside investors. The only reason to keep it in the can is to avoid the costs of promotion and distribution for a crappy movie.

I'm given to understand that it was never ever intended to be a box-office blockbuster. The budget for the film was only around 7 million and it was primarily a passion project for Baldwin and most likely will end up on a pay channel.

Nope. He had professionals whose job was to make sure the weapons were safe. It remains the armorer's fault. You can say he did not hire well if you wish, but if she was like the gun nuts on its board, she convinced him she was totally in charge and it was safe. You are doing it now. You claim to know how it went. He will not lose the case.

You want him exonerated because you agree with his politics
